Mists of Tundraria

Ice, snow, more ice... welcome to Tundraria! Zork Industries has long sought after this planet, it's rumored to have the most desirable solar in all the Galaxy. It is also known for its undesirable low temperatures and the creatures who call it home. You'll find there's some convenient pipes to navigate your way from lane to lane. Just remember to follow the droids, they always know the way! There's also an ice tunnel you can slide around in to get you from one place to another, you'll find there's some scrumptious creatures to eat there too if you need a quick pick me up!


The indigenous beings of Tundraria are known as the Nyuk-Nyuk by outsiders. They were once a great people, living in peace with one another. They believed the planet was given to them by the God of Flame, Izva, and their purpose was to care for the creatures of Tundraria until Izva's arrival. This was before the coming of industry...

Almost 2000 moons ago, Blabl Zork landed in the arctic of Tundraria. Most of the villagers took caution to his arrival and referred to him as The Great Deceiver. The Nyuk-Nyuk planned to capture Blabl and warp his mind, so he would have no memory of Tundraria and would leave unharmed. All was planned until a villager by the name of Sova ventured to Blabl's ship. Sova was known for his strong desire for power, and believed Blabl could help him achieve this. Sova persuaded many to leave the tribe with him, and peace was disrupted. Those who stayed behind quarrelled amongst themselves until all was lost. The Nyuk-Nyuk were no longer one, but four. Each new tribe chose their path, many abandoning their faith in the God of Flame, Izva.

Zork Industries has continued development on Tundraria. They've installed a series of underground pipes to avoid contact with the indigenous beings. As for Sova, he has been tasked with keeping the traitor tribes of Nyuk-Nyuk at bay, by any means necessary, including war...


This is a work in progress map, it has a LOT of placeholder textures (meaning they'll be replaced with pretty ones later). I'm currently painting all the assets in my free time, but I'm updating the map constantly to affect the changes as I go. Keep checking back to see what's been polished! Also, I'll be glad to hear suggestions for things to add into the textures, but at the end of the day it will be my decision as the artist on what gets added.

This map is meant for 3v3 MOBA gameplay. It has a unique gimmick where the lanes criss cross each other. So once you take out the top front turret, you'll navigate through the pipe system and be led to push the bottom back turret. This will make more sense when you play it and see where the droids go. Also, if you take out both front turrets, your path will be clear to the turrets on the backside. By the way, I've honestly never even tried it in Team Death Match, I'm betting it won't work out so well. There are plenty of great TDM maps for those who are interested in that, but if I get a lot of feedback requesting TDM for this map I can put it on my to-do list.

The AI is pathed and "working". I find that I still struggle to beat the hardest difficulty AI (I'm not a pro player by any means though). Some character's AI will have more issues than others (Yuri bot I'm looking at you), but most can figure everything out. Updates to AI pathing will happen later, unless people beg for it now. Obviously your best option is to play a solid 3v3 with all human players, but I've been doing lots of AI matches and have enjoyed them.

Please give me feedback if you have it. I've play tested this map with some members of TeamXEggs, as well as some of my close friends. Many changes have happened in result of their feedback. I want this map to feel like a legit Ronimo map, meaning it's (relatively) balanced, has a gimmick (criss cross lanes), and nice original artwork (WIP). If you have no feedback, I will also accept virtual cookies sent to my Steam account, mmmmmmmm. :)

Spent some time today optimizing my Photoshop textures. All future textures and updates to old textures will now be 1:1 scale, reducing file size.

@Ophiuchus - I think I fixed the majority of the texture issues, but there will still be a couple missing textures until I can optimize for low settings.

Hi there, just as a heads up, I just tried playing the map after this latest update. Past the shop, all the background textures are black/blank. Even some of the non-glass platforms are invisible. I'm guessing this is just a bug from your latest update, hopefully an easy fix. Still one of my favorite maps.

Congrats on getting an honorable mention! you definitely earned it. I played the map and my biggest concern is that it's too big, so it's going to be annoying to catch somebody. You said you were going to reduce front turret's health but I don't think that will be enough to cut down on the stall. The criss-cross mechanic is cool, but the size of the map makes it hard to keep track of where I am, and the mini-map is too small to be useful. It could work really well though if you cut away a number of sections.
