A simple, no-frills player starter house (hole-in-the-wall style shack). Located in Windhelm near Sadri's Used Wares.

-Cooking Pot
-Enchanting Table

Unique Features:
-Usable Mortar and Pestle for Alchemy Crafting

Note for users of JK's Windhelm: There is a small bug for users of this mod in that there is a staircase directly in front of the door. Both the door and the staircase are still functional so you will have to test it and see if it works for you. Sorry for the placement issues.

If anyone would like to take over these mods they are welcome to; unfortunately I haven't played Skyrim in more than a month and don't see myself coming back to it any time soon. I tried going back to it and barely got through "Unbound" before I had enough. It's a result of spending way too much time playing and modding for the last year; as I'm not working due to my health I have endless amounts of time on my hands and I'm more than a little Skyrimed out... (is that a word? I guess it is now....) Sorry folks.

Don't give up so easily...let me see if i get someone to help or at least take over your mods for a short period...this mod is basically complete anyway...many people have mods with future plans that they never get to

And I agree the creation kit sucks BIG TIME

I have moved on from Skyrim, and do not see myself returning anytime soon. After banging my head against the wall trying to fix my CK issues, I kinda gave up. I lost interest in Skyrim altogether shortly after the release of Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and have not been back to it. Sorry folks, but this is now a dead mod.

Unfortunately it seems an update is going to take a while longer than I thought. I am currently experiencing issues with the Creation Kit that a total re-install of the game has not solved and am not currently able to create or edit scripts at all (papyrus scripting fragments are required to complete an addon). I'm not sure why my game is acting up so it will take me a while to get this figured out, if it can be fixed at all, and as all of my current modding projects require custom scripts, unfortunately that means no progress for the forseeable future. :( I may have to try Bethesda support directly if I can't figure this one out. Sorry all.

Just a quick note that I haven't forgotten about your request, blkphoenix_2. I just got permission back from Arthmoor to make an addon this week and I haven't really been doing any modding for Skyrim in the last few days (I'm taking a bit of a break and trying to learn some Nifskope stuff and 3d modeling); I will get back to Skyrim soon. The link Arthmoor provided gives step by step instructions to make this a starting location for Live Another Life and I think it should be relatively straightforward to make this work.

Hi, thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you like the house :) I'll look into the changes you suggested (I'm not sure how to do the script for alternate start but I'll see if I can figure out how it's done). Unfortunately my current system cannot handle Skyrim SE (or Fallout 4 :( )so I don't have the ability to port the mod myself right now. A new computer will be a few months away and I will probably port all of my mods over when I get a system with a better processor and graphics card.

a couple of things:

1.) If you have the SE Creation Kit - can you bring this file in there and save it. Would be nice if you can optimize the Nif files.

Before you do that...(even if you decide not to port this)

Can you place an anvil outside to the left or right of the front door (or somewhere in the neighbor thats not too far from the house). Can you look into making this a startup choice file for 'live another life'.
