Description
Adds Kievan Rus' to the base game.

Kievan Rus' was a medieval polity and historical precedent to the modern Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian peoples. Although a loose federation of independent principalities for most of its existence, it was briefly united under the rules of Vladimir the Great and his son Yaroslav the Wise, with political power centered in Kiev (in modern Ukraine). At its greatest height it stretched from the Baltic to the Black seas and served as a a major trade center between Scandinavia and Byzantium, as well as the Germans and the Asian steppes. Kievan Rus' lasted from the late 9th to the mid-13th century when it was invaded by the Golden Horde.

This is an update to my Gods and Kings mod which can be found here: Kievan Rus' (Gods and Kings)

Note:
- This civilization requires the Brave New World expansion.
- Updates to the Mod will most likely break save games. Please do not update until you are ready to begin a new game.
- The City-State of Kiev is replaced with Minsk.

~~~
Leader: Yaroslav
UA: From the Varangians to the Greeks: Trade Routes with City-States generate +2 Influence per turn (bonus scales with game speed). Rivers extend the length of land trade routes as if they were roads.
@Latis
I know Kyiv is the standard Ukrainian romanization. However, with all my mods, I use the most common English spelling, which is the model Firaxis uses for most of the their civs when the game is played in English.
It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.
Is it working with "Yet Another World map Pack v 22" where's TSL?
Tomatekh  [author] Mar 18, 2017 @ 11:02am
Yes, it includes support for most major mods including YnAEMP.
FieryCharizard Mar 18, 2017 @ 10:58am
Is this also fucntion with YNEAMP and TSL?
I make my mods around the base game. Although they probably load and function alongside the CBP, they are not balanced around it. They should have no problem running alongside JFD’s civs.
