The search party had read numerous manuscripts that spoke of the Ansi people and their time before the Great Drought. Among the legends was that of a fountain of infinitude they called Neros but what those explorers found was quite a bit more than they had bargained for. Not only did they find the answers to how the Ansi had survived the drought but they also found spectacular relics and technology preserved within the temple. Whether the Ansi built the temple themselves remains a mystery but Neros was definitely used to manipulate water for their civilization.

Very beautiful temple. I cannot imagine the time it took to sculpt that terrain to give that look, you are more patient than I! The "sconces" are quite a nice addition. I love your techinque of giving the player a glimpse, past a cracked door, or through a grate, that shows a hint of what is to come if you are dilligent in exploration, keep it up!

Thanks! I really enjoyed making a more enclosed, linear experience and I can't wait to make more ancient temples sometime down the line when we have levers, trapdoors, and other interactables to work with.

Wow - strrange tech! There are even switches :-)) The desert rocks look almost like dwellings - too bad one can't sculpt these, or put some function behind the switches ...
