Located in Southeast Asia between Burma (a.k.a. Myanmar), Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, Siam - now Thailand - has a long and storied history. A beautiful and mysterious land of dark forests and ancient mountains, Siam has seen occupation and revolution, flood and famine, and the rise and fall of empires.

In 1278, a prince named "Ramkhamhaeng" inherited the small and unimportant kingdom of Sukhothai. In twenty years, employing a brilliant combination of military genius and shrewd diplomacy, he expanded his country's borders and influence to cover much of Southeast Asia. Regarded as a benevolent and wise ruler, one of his major achievements was the compilation of a system of writing and a new Thai alphabet which he adapted from the various forms of Khmer script that were previously used.

Unique Ability: Sri Ayutthaya - Districts provide +1 Housing, +1 Amenity when built next to a River. Receive an additional Envoy from Civics that provide Envoys.

Agenda: Father Governs Children - Likes civilizations with who have cultured and happy citizens. Is upset by civilizations that do not attend to their citizens' happiness

Siam's Theme is Lao Duang Duen. There are four era variations.

Does he still forward settle you and claim you're settling too close to him? Seriously though this looks like official DLC, not just a mod.

@sukritact after investigation, it seems that the Hacienda in Leugi's mexico causes havoc on replacement district adjacencies. I'll go fill a bug report.

@circeus: it should appear as increased tile yields on the luxury resources themselves: the same way you get extra production from fishing boats from God of the Sea

I just realized, while this ability is the leader one, I'm actually playing with Chulalongkorn, could that be the source of the issue? <<;;

It's probably me but no matter how I go about it, I can't seem to find the bonus that the floating market is supposed to give me. It doesn't show up as a yield change, not as an adjacency bonus, not in the gold or culture production for either the city or my empire, which all remain unchanged. Restarting/reloading has had no effect.

Excellent Mod. I was sad when Civ 6 excluded Siam from it's default civilizations. But I have no doubt that this mod is so great than the previous version of Siam from Civ 5.
I only think that you could make them have some faith benefits along with the Leader Ability!!

PS.: I loved the exclusive Palace model that you created. Very beautiful!

Thank you for this mod. Just to let you know:
1. When a city is selected, a question mark appears instead of Siam's logo in the city screen at the bottom;
2. "Receive Gold" is misspelled as "Recieve Gold" in the leader's UA. Fixing the typo myself causes the mod to stop working.
