New IndieDB Blog Post

Check out our latest blog post on IndieDB posted TODAY:

If you keep up with our Twitter and Instagram, we have already revealed new Norb and Doris sprites. There are many more amazing characters that we can’t wait to show you.

We’re back with some updates regarding the development progress of The Tale of Doris and the Dragon - Episode 2. I am happy to say that we are very close to getting our press builds together and will go into more detail in this post. For all of you following us on Instagram and Twitter, we are forever grateful for your support and patience. We promise that you won’t need to wait too much longer!

What have we been up to?

It's that time of year again and we are busy preparing for the festival season. Last weekend, we kicked off the summer with another amazing weekend at Norwich Gaming Festival 2019. We got so much positive feedback about Doris after implementing changes based on last year's expo. We seriously recommend going if you are into your indie games - it's one of the bigger festivals for indies in the UK.

We made a short summary film about our experience at #NGF19. Check it out:

When is The Tale of Doris and the Dragon Episode 2 coming out?

The Adventure continues...

Please hand in your travel coin and proceed through the gate to the departure area

Following on from the breakout Newgrounds title and Winner of the Pocket Gamer Bronze award, the adventure continues in The Tale of Doris and the Dragon Episode 2. In this episode, Doris continues on her quest to find her missing husband Albert.

The Tale of Doris and the Dragon is an episodic, point-and-click adventure game series featuring an elderly lady named Doris who finds herself in Purgatory after passing away on earth. On her journey, Doris meets many weird and wonderful characters that help or try to hinder her progress. Out of this, an unlikely friendship emerges.

You can check out Episode 1 here:

- Doris finally arrives at her destination where she must navigate the vast and confounding hallways of the Management complex that is older than time itself.

- With help from Norb the Transitional Support Dragon and some exciting new characters, solve puzzles and guide Doris on her journey through the red tape of Limbo’s middle management.

- A sinister plan is underway that threatens the existence of reality itself. Our brave heroine must use her quick wit and unrelenting sass in order to halt the wheels of bureaucracy and save the day for all mankind.

Well, I can honestly say I've never played a game as a granny with a zimmer frame who talks to yellow dragons. Weirder still, I can't put it down…

Love adventure games, and your description is excellent by Greenlight standards, really shows you are a professional dev team. What's the name behind ArrogantPixel though? I'm interested to learn why you call the studio that, if there is any reason to it?

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at .

Good luck with the development!
