How to play in 1920x1080

How to put in 1920x1080 resolution.

Introduction

To play Mass Effect in 1920x1080 is very simple, just follow the following steps of the guide

1920x1080

First open "Documents", then open the folder "BioWare" and "Mass Effect", then open the "Config" folder and then the file "BIOEngine". Inside this file will be hundreds of lines, find the following line:

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]

Just below you will see: StartupResolutionX = and StartupResolutionY =

There will be a value in front of the X and the Y, you will simply put 1920 in front of the X and 1080 in front of the Y.


After that you just save the changes you made and start the game. Have fun

This appears to cause a crashing issue. The game would typically crash within 1-3 minutes of me playing. I suggest that you create a backup of the .ini file before editing (always a good policy), or if you didn't, then change the resolution back to 1360x768. You should restart the game after you make the changes.
