@volnes No, I wrote the network in winsock, so it would be too much work porting it to Linux I'm afraid :/ I appreciate the offer though

This is one of the best 2d shooters since more than 1 year!

Yeah, I really am not a fan of how the combat is looking. Terrain doesn't seem to play much of a factor, so the maps feel very linear, extremely linear in design, almost like a "tug of war" and not in a good way at all.

There doesn't seem to be much weapon variety, abilities, or customization. Or skill or gameplay depth, for that matter.

It is much frontal clash here because I thought it was more interesting and faster to show than tactical play, I was wrong. The map in the first sequence for example is just a flat field I use for testing, thought this made for a nice video visually with a tank battle. But of course it just looks stupid gameplay-wise. Imagine playing any other 2D-game on just a flat map, it's the same problem.

Thank you. It is possible to construct terrain in this game with a sand gun, and dig out sand with a shovel, so you can make your own forts and so on.

this could be incredibly sexy if done right look at king arthurs gold, you can build your own fortress.. but the game lacks on people playing because there is no updates to the game and no promotion if you do it correct ill support you

looks like this is not very well thought through.
The combat occurs only on frontal clash, which is limited by the shape of the map.
this is not how you create anything that is interesting, fun, challenging and what not.
