SHAR is an action combination of tactical and sports game in the destructible world. The rules are extremely simple: two teams, one ball. The team that carries the ball into the opponent's gates gets a score, the team with the most score at the end of the game is the winner. However, this is where things get interesting! Players have the variety of skills and tricks and destructible environment to fiddle around to slam the opponent and win the game.

Changing environment

Each and every game session is unique thanks to unpredictable environment changes. Destroy the platform under the opponent and intercept the ball he was about to land into the gates. Smash the wall on your way, to shortcut the path and goal the winning score. Create your own tactics and use the environment and team play to execute it.

Unique technology

Physics synchronization becomes possible due to our brand new game engine built with the power of Rust language.

Customization and modding

Every game rule in SHAR is a customizable game mode. This allows players to modify rules and create new game modes.

Задумка не плохая. Как видно по видео, окружение можно ломать - это хорошо.
Но для нормального сетевого рубилова персонажу нужны способности и это окружение восстанавливать! Только тогда тут потребуются классы перонажей...
Ещё можно добавить способности "пихать" пробегающих мимо персонажей, чтобы они например мимо двери в стене промахивались...
Можно ещё некие "усилители" по карте разбросать...
Короче, было б желание, можно и лучше Quake 3 сделать! :steamhappy:

@mistercbax thank you for your support! We don't use Piston at all. You can check our tech stack here , it did not changed significantly. While we are working on new videos for steam, you can check work in progress videos on twitter :)

RunicNet is correct there is no game engine other than the ones coded in rust by the author. This is all custom. They may be using Piston which is a native rendering engine(but don't quote me on that) for those interested: Piston Game Engine []. Anyway piston is still almost three times as efficient as Unity.

I am a rust programmer and I am amazed at how well done this is, most games in rust right now are still proofs of concept or toys, this kicks it up a notch. I would love to see a mod API that I can code mods in rust with! Good luck with the greenlight! (P.S. more videos help sell)
