How to change your ingame language.
How to change within config files:
Navigate to:

C:\Users\%YOURUSERNAME%\Documents\my games\For Honor\options.ini

Open file, search and edit:
[Language] EnableSubtitles=false LanguageID=$ SubtitlesID=$ VoiceLanguageID=$

Replace the $ with your language ID.

Language list:
1 = English
2 = French
5 = German
7 = Simplified chinese
13 = Russian
19 = Brazilian Portuguese

If you know the numbers associated with other languages, feel free to leave a comment and I'll add them!

I found the solution on the "For Honor Open Beta" forum (which is closed now). The original poster was goremachine. Thanks to him for providing this solution!
How to change within the game:

Some versions of the game are region locked.
For example, some games are stuck with chinese and russian only. Meh Ubisoft, why doing this? :(

@Virtus Pro NEO: it's probably becaise your version of the game is region locked. Maybe try to contact Ubisoft support?
@Sino_non: nop I dont know and I couldn't help as I would fail at recognizing those languages even if I saw them. XD if you find out, let me know!

Not a language pack but a patch that let them use english in russian version. Someone said that on forum. I have no clue honestly.
Cmdo.Delta  [author] Feb 17, 2017 @ 12:50pm
Yeah some guy on forum requested the english pack,they gave it to him but denied the same request by someone else. Its just completely stupid.

@<.GP}Cmdo.Delta, when you said region locked you meant only language, right? Not connection?

@Cookie it seems like the russian version of the game only allows chinese and russian languages. Apocalypse Pony tried to contact them about this.
I believe they did that because the game is less expensive in those countries and they wanted to prevent everyone to use proxys to buy the game at a lower cost than in their respective countries. I doubt Ubisoft will change his mind about it but try to contact them aswell. You may get lucky maybe.

Okay, update on support:
They just replied and the dude simply forwarded me to the home support department. Bullshit.
Russian departament doesn't even has a live chat option -_-
The option itself is worth the try though, best of luck to everybody.

ubi should patch it and makes all languages avaiable everywhere... :/
