Abit deeper, but like I said, prophecies can be read many ways.
At the end of Ending B, Krane also makes his way out threw the sewers, but he doesn't go back to old town or Huran, he is outside the quarantine, in the main city we never go to in the game. This can seen by the fact Old Town is in the background over the water, and that we see a working bus. Basically life outside the quarrenten is fine. BUT now that an infected Krane is out, the plauge will spread, get out of control fast and BOOM 15 years later we are in Dying Light 2. A new dark age.
As we all know prophecies can be....finicky. And this is why I think both endings for fil the profecy, but in different ways.
The first option does so directly. One man sacrificing himself to heal the land from the plague.
BUT the profacy does not state that the healing is of the plague, just that the prophecy will be set in motion by a plague, when people turn on each other and become corrupt. Maybe this one man sent to sacrifice himself to heal is to heal what humanity has become. A Noah's Ark like scenario. How does one do that, by passing through gates of death and becoming undead. A caring figure by day, trying to save the people, but by night a messenger of the God of the Sun, cleansing the world of the corruption and hatred by simple eradication.
My point is: If Kyle is the Night Hunter, do you think that would damage your theory?
