Help Mirrorheim unlock the secrets of the undead in the lands of the Ether!
Palinopsia is a puzzle game filled with mirrors, explosions, and skeletons! You will control various interactables to direct a light beam around each level. Use this beam to unlock secrets and solve unique puzzles. But be careful! One wrong twist of this light beam could be your undoing. When greenlit, this game will be released for Early Access, receiving updates as we build out the final version of the game.

Mirrorheim - A mirror in peril needs your help to save the Ether. It's up to you to help him discover the great mystery of his land and end Red Skeleton's tyrannical reign.

You're in control! You will be able to interact with various objects in each level such as mirrors, walls, and levers to direct a light beam. Using this light beam you will be able to solve puzzles and unlock secrets. Each puzzle will be challenging in it’s own way with unique mechanics that build upon each other as you progress through the game. During the game you will encounter boss fights to test your cunning with combinations of mechanics you have learned throughout the game.

The artwork and models in Palinopsia are original creations designed and produced in Maya by our team. We are pursuing a unique artstyle for Palinopsia that captures the audience and brings them into the world of Mirrorheim. Below are some samples of art created for our initial prototype.

The Music in Palinopsia will be composed by the talented Vinc†ure and Aubrie-Healy. Check out some of their dopest tracks below:

Team Skeleton is here for you! Chock-full of programmers and talented artists, our team has great ambitions for Palinopsia. During early access we will share regular updates to the game as levels are constructed and new mechanics are introduced. After release we aim to continue with new content and features through patches / dlc.

Virtual reality? Why not!? The team is investigating bringing VR support to Palinopsia which would allow players to transplant themselves into the realms of the Ether to directly manipulate mirrors and other interactables with their own hands. Mouse and keyboard be damned, we feel moving mirrors with you hands in 3d space is something that could be genuinely satisfying in the world of Palinopsia.

Vote YES for Palinopsia to be in greenlit for Early Access!

VR won't make you any friends when the game looks tired, unspiried and more or less a recycled puzzler. If I saw this as VR I'd have instant downvoted without hesitation. However, since the game concpet seems very uninspired to begin with, I can't help but think you all were hoping VR would be a boost for those VR people that are screaming for more VR games. It's sad really on so many levels.

Honestly, the pointilist concept art for "moustache mirror man" looks better than the final 3D model. If you could somehow make the model look more like the concept art, then I think it would look much cooler!
