Description
Special Forces faction that adds the German Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK, the Army Special Forces) - The bulk of the mod is focused on the KSK from a 2010-2015 timeline. There is also a small KSK force that are equipped as a fictional 2035 faction.

Historical Info-

The Kommando Spezialkräfte Marine were originally formed under the name of Küstenjäger-Abteilung during early WW2, and as a naval special forces unit fought throughout the war. After the end of WW2 the unit, now refered to as 'Commando Frogmen' 'Kampfschwimmer' were formed in the fear of Soviet agression and the unit underwent several changes as it became increasing specialised alongside other Special Forces groups.

The Faction-
The KSK have options for Multicam, Flectarn (Forest) camo and Tropentarn (Desert) camo units.

They are armed primarily with heavily customised G36 rifles, MP7A1 PDW's and Hk417's, with the MG3 for a support weapon and the SIG P228R as a primary sidearm.

Despite the recent adoption of the HK416 among German Special Forces units only some groups (not in this mod yet) have them as their primary weapon, with the G36 continuing to serve as the primary weapon for the faction. They wear Opscore helmets. Attachments are Aimpoint Micros and Eotechs, with LMM-01 lasers.

The faction lacks AT assets but had CQC Assaulter units armed with MP7's integrated into the squads to make them more effective at close ranges such are urban areas or offshore oil rigs.

Specialist Elements-

The KSK 2035 forces are equipped in the fictional Multicam/Flectarn Multitarn pattern, and armed with 6.5 Caseless G36's and PSG1A1's, supported by MG3's. They wear a mix of Airframe and Opscore helmets. Attachments are Aimpoint Micros, Supressors and LMM-O1 Lasers.

Supports-

The German forces are supported by some ground assets- the Fennek light recon vehicle and the Leopard 2 MBT provide them with substantial firepower if needed, and the Fennek comes in both Recon and armed Variants.

Faction has full Editor, Zeus and ALiVE support (faction name KSK ) Also supports ACE3 Medical system.

Warum wird bei "historical Info" über das KSM gesprochen, wenn du eigentlich das KSK meinst?

Make sure you are using the second listed KSK faction if you are in the Editor, as those are actually equipped with gear, the first KSK group are not meant to be the main faction, but for modifying yourself if you wanted to use them in an MP unit/clan with your own gear, for example.

jarrad96; Thank you for nice mod. After recent ARMA 3 update, all units are being deployed with a helmet, an uniform, and a pistol. There is no rifle, and no vest. If there would be a chance, I wonder if you could inspect the problem. Thank you, again. You mods make ARMA3 single play alive.

Thats a real nice Mod, is it possible to make the Flecktarn and die Tropentarn Camo more styled like the Camo´s from the BWmod?

I dont know if you have the Permission, but can you revive the Kommando Spezialkrafte (KSK) mod?^^ The mod is dead since 2016 and it breaks my heart seeing this mod useless lieing on the ground. I think you are the best Person for this offer, because you have the experience and Skills for this work. ;D

Major Update-
-Added a large range of new units in Multicam as options
-Added new Fennek Variants
-Expansion of 2035 Era units from Fireteam sized to Squad
-Added about a dozen new squad/group types
-Reduced dependencies and mod filesize.

nice mod but it would be nice if the flecktarn would be a bit darker like in the original Bundeswehr Mod

I’m working on re-making the German SOF, they are one of my oldest units, and it’s a good opportunity to improve the quality and add in some more units/groups. Should be seeing an update for this that will overhaul it in a week or less.

Not long ago there were 5 mods required. I think the fifth was calles something with [VSS] or [VHS]. Now it disappeared. Can someone please help me to find it again?

Please add a version of the helmets with cover without the chemlight! Kinda defeats the purpose of camo if you cant hide well with your gear ^^

It would be nice if you can make the textures a little bit darker, cause in real life the uniforms aren't that bright...I know what I'm talking about ;)
