Skeletal Consumption

A parasite has evolved to latch onto human hosts and enter by mouth. The parasite has a fascinating appetite for bones...

Will you turn humanity into lifeless blobs of skin and blood?

-full set of custom symptoms
-many custom abilities and transmissions

This is my first scenario.
Yes, I know, the symptoms tree is sloppy. I can't find a good way to organize it.
If there's a symptom that appears to have no infectivity, do not worry. All symptoms provide infectivity in some way.
I'm no medical master, so don't expect advanced medical terms.

EDIT: Buffs.

Be sure to check out my other scenario, Treemen!

Bonus vampirus...

[Taken from transcript for Futurama episode "Fry Am the Egg Man":]

Professor Farnsworth: I found a description of the creature in this medieval monster manual. Just as I feared. Attack type J.
Amy: No! [extendedly] No!
Professor Farnsworth: [extendedly] Yes! [back to normal] It kills its prey by sucking out the skeleton, leaving nothing but a puddle of flesh.
Amy: Ew!
Leela: Ugh!
Bender: Ew!
Professor Farnsworth: Hence the Latin name bonus vampirus. Or, as you non-Catholics would say, the bone vampire!
Zoidberg: Dios mío.

OR for those who aren't nerdlingers, "El Chupacabra"
Addendum: a more ACCURATE Latin name for that bone vampire is Ossis vampirus.
