City View for Notebooks (G&K)

Description
Based on previous work by Sneaks for Vanilla NiGHTS, which can in part
also be found, e.g., in the Unofficial Patch Mod, this Mod aims at tailoring
the CityView Screen for small (notebook) displays. Practically everything fits
into one screen - so no scrolling is necessary (unless almost all wonders and
buildings are constructed in one city).

Details:
- Considerably smaller City focus box (from Sneaks; further resized);
- Smaller and nicer GP-meter (no overlapping meter and GP symbol);
- Specialists grouped together in one box (from Sneaks);
- Buildings and wonders each grouped together in one nice box (from
Sneaks; adapted and rearranged): both are ordered alphabetically (from left
to right, top to bottom); golden frames represent respectively world wonders
and (free) buildings that cost no maintenance, while silver frames are used
for national wonders and normal buildings.

Requires Gods and Kings. Currently only works with the small interface
option! Compatible with any other mod that does not alter the CityView files.
Available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. If your language
is missing or if you find any bug, please let me know.

Thanks for the confidence - indeed, since I found some spare time, and by tackling the problem in a more systematic way and with the help of the LUA console, it actually was not too difficult:

You can find the version for BNW now here:

I am very sorry for not having finished this yet: unfortunately I am no expert and adapting the specialist box is not trivial; what is more problematic, for reasons both personal and related to work I really have little time to work on this; I am still hoping to fix it, but I cannot make any promises right now, sorry!

Maybe just create separate panel, like specialists, for art works slots

Hi, I was on holidays, so I did not even see the message, sorry.

Actually, I am working on it, the easy part is done already and being tested. I have not decided yet how to handle the new art works in the buildings (and wonders).

Hi! Can we expect a version for BNW?

Thank you. I managed to solve the problem myself. Do you think your mod is compatible with Fikes City UI ? I wasnt sure to use them since both change the city UI.

Sorry for the late reply. I am rather busy lately and do not even play CiV.

Anyway, please try the following link directly:

or the first entry here:

I hope it works
