Thank you for all for the support! Planetary Rumble has been Greenlit!
Dev Update: Added Random Arena Generation
Release date: Spring 2017
Planetary Rumble is fast, yet tactical, local multiplayer party game, where you battle against your friends over the control of the planets in a small space arena. It is the space shooter game you always wanted to play with your friends on the couch, shouting on each other in anger, raising the hands in a glorious victory or throwing away your perfectly fine gamepad after a miserable loss (just to pick it up again to challenge them in a next round).

Up to 4 players will be able to fly, fight, warp jump and seize the precious planets on the shared screen. You will form brittle alliances, depend on your fast shooting skills or maybe stay silently under the radar while the others shred themselves to pieces.

Game is currently under a heavy development, in a pre-alpha stage, with only one game mode. Final game is expected to have multiple weapons, game modes and depending on the funding AI bots and network support. Early access game should be ready in a few weeks!

Thank you. Until now nobody I've tested the game with complained about the sound effects. It is a bit different when you actually play the game (I would argue a lot of other action games may be annoying to watch just as spectator after a while). On the other hand, it's still not polished and I will certainly look into each aspect of the game more. For now, I agree at least that the nuke blast effect on camera shake is a bit larger than it should be. I will probably tune down a bit that "chirping" detonation sound too. Anyway, the video is somewhat a cut of more action pieces of gameplay, so it's not that annoying as it seems, even so when there are only two or three players playing.

Oh, and: "Planetary Rumble" is a good name. It conveys the idea that this is an action / arcade game better than "Precious Planets" would. Also, I didn't see the earlier logo or video, but all I can say is that your current logo and video look good.

Looks quite interesting. I love gravity-based games and I love simple 2D arcade games. . . so this game fits into both categories :)

My only gripes are A) that some of the sound effects get pretty annoying after a while (for instance, the "chirping" sound. It's really high-pitched and cuts right into my ears). So maybe you could get or make more soothing sound effects. And B) I think the screen-shake that happens every time a missile explodes is a bit much. I think you should reserve screen shake for rarer occasions (like a critical hit to the player's own ship).

But other than that, this looks pretty cool. It's a "yes" from me. Good luck.
