Daenerys Battlecruiser Torpedo Version

Hello everyone!

This is the torpedo version of the daenerys battlecruiser.
You don't need jetpacks to move around the ship.

The concept behind this ship is to build a solid and torpedo-proof hull around Fowl's core, wich is the heart of the Daenerys.
Several blast door sections and walls along the ship prevent it to be torn apart by those monstrous things. (Torpedoes)
Basicaly, it's a cube 3x3x3 made out of conveyors, wich connects 27 small hydrogen thrusters hidden inside the ship. (See images)

Outer thrusters will get shot, but the ship will still be operational. It also comes with 5 jump drives well packed inside the hull, along with an hidden control room near the infirmary, to be used when the fight gets rough.

The gravity drive uses spherical gravity generators, and is capable of almost instantly push the ship 0-100, without the help of any other kind of propulsion. Also, there's a script wich allows to activate gravity drive while you activate other trhusters as you normally do. So if the script is active, and you press "W" to move forward, it will also activate the grav drive in same direction.

The torpedo itself is capable of tracking a moving target at a maximum distance of 25 km , it uses raycast with the front cameras.

NOTE: If the torp is not loaded with ingots won't do much damage, whilst with ingots it will penetrate 16 solid heavy armor blocks. Ingots should be in stacks of 10k in order for the torpedo to work properly. Also, there is a script to auto-reload iron ingots in the torpedo: It loads iron, steelplate and metal grid (latter two for the torpedo to self repair before it hits). Torp welder also acts like the normal cargo when it is destroyed, adding damage. It needs caution because it won't load ingot if it runs out, so you should always have some iron ingots in the ship.

The following bugs occurs due to game optimization issue, and would eventually be fixed by keen:
  1. projector/timer welder issue : After welding torpedo from projection the torpedo timer must manually be reset to run the torpedo PB and both trigger and start the timer itself
  2. The camera crosshairs are not centered so when firing you need to look around/above the target to get a lock. Lcd screen will say locked, when its locked

I'd like to tank Alysius and Meridius_IX for theyr scripts and help with the torpedo, they made (and keep making) an inspiring work for the game and it's community!

You probably need to reload the torpedo blueprint on the projector. But honestly, I would update the script in it with teh newest Easy Homing script from Alysius workshop page; and update the launch control script with his latest launch control script. Then re-blueprint the torpedo and put it back in the projector.

If you dont want to do all that - fire a Space + atmo torpedo instead of the space one. That projector still works last I checked. Somehow the main projector, the projection itself is set ownership neutral I think? or some other issue. I am releasing a new updated torpedo + small grid missile + PDC vanilla warship very soon.

For some reason the only torpedo that successfully prints is the dummy torpedo. Is there any way to fix that?

Also, I run Guardians Vanilla pvp server - no pcu or block limits, just rules

Hah any ship with script and grav drive costs a lot of pcu now. Nothing fun is buildable.

Btw folks be sure to update the script with Alysius newest one. This old script works but lags and is inaccurate

This ship isnt viable in multiplayer, it costs 43k PCU :/

It seems the ingots dont do additional damage after all. These torpedo's just work pretty well anyway, even empty. You can/should run these with no iron ingots or components loaded, empty, so that each is as cheap as possible. Will do same damage as with everything loaded, now. 7-10 Heavy armor blocks per torpedo.

Ship still works incredibly well. Had to change spacemaster cleanup settings for my servers but these torps are still punching through entire ships longways. 2 well placed shots gutted that behemoth in the Workshop called AHAB.
