--- ABOUT THE CAR ---
The Subaru Legacy GT300 was a racing car competing in the Japanese SuperGT championship from 2009 until 2011. It is based on the 5th generation Subaru Legacy road car, but with very heavy modifications according to the JAF GT300 rulebook. First competing in 2009, the Legacy was initially developed with a rather complex 4-wheel-drive system. While the system gave great traction and a big advantage in the rain, it was deemed too heavy and inefficient, so from 2010 on, the car became rear-wheel-drive. The car is powered by a Subaru EJ20, 1994cc turbocharged flat-4 engine, developing in excess of 300hp and 400nm. The engine is based heavily on the very successful engines used in the WRC championship and shares serveral components, but has been retuned to perform better at circuit-racing.

This car is the 2011 version - the last year Subaru's R&D Sport team ran the Legacy. The car was relatively succesful, winning the 5th and 7th rounds at Suzuka and Autopolis and finishing 4th overall in the 2011 GT300-class championship. All the leassons learnt with the Legacy, R&D Sport took with them to make the improved Subaru BRZ GT300, they are currently running.

--- THE SIMULATED CAR ---
The car in the sim takes advantage of all the most recent features available in rFactor2. The physics are based on the Nissan GT500 by Studio397, but with a series of changes to suit this car. The engine has been made from scratch and features turbo simulation and 3 different fuel maps. Also the car has adjustable anti-roll-bars (The red and blue levers in the cockpit!) which can be adjusted while running. Remember to map buttons for both mixture and anti-roll-bars!

With a relatively low weight (1225kg dry) and lots of downforce, this little car goes a lot faster than you would expect it to and is a lot of fun to drive agressively! With a full fuel-load of 100 liters, this car can go just around an hour on a stint, with economic driving.

--- TEMPLATE AND PAINTING---
Template is part of the download! It is in your rfactor2 folder, in the templates folder.

There are now two types of rims, selected by the genstring. Style 1 = 10 Spoke enkei rims, Style 2 = 6 Spoke RAYS rims

The rims are paintable! WCEXTRA1 paints the style 1 rims, and WCEXTRA2 paints the style 2 rims.
