Description
Evening guys,

I would like to present to you our first mod for ArmA 3.
It is a compilation of different parts of gear, ranging from headgear over uniforms all the way to vests and backpacks (WIP).
The goal is to give players the possibility to look ingame like a German soldier between 1995-2015 (No IdZ)

FAQ:

Q: Your picture shows the "Bundeswehr Waffenkammer" and the "Bundeswehr Garage", does this mod include guns and/or vehicles? Will you make guns and/or vehicles in the future?
A: This whole thing is called ProjektBundesWehr (PBW). The project's scope includes vehicles and/or guns, but there are none as of now. We would like to do guns and/or vehicles in the future but modding is just a hobby of us and therefor time is sparce.

Q: Will you add feature x
A: If we like it, we might. This mod started because we wanted better uniforms/helmets ourself and it will mainly be based on the stuff we like in the future. Everybody has different taste, so if your feature won't be included consider trying to mod it yourself. It really is easier than it sounds, this is our very first mod.

Q: Is this mod compatible with x
A: This mod has no requirements (TFAR and ACE are optional) and should be compatible with every other mod.

Kurzgesagt (in a nutshell): We made a design decision to favour looks over realism regarding the mostly irrelevant armor values to add convenience. If you aim to achieve a modset with the upmost realism or planning to use this in TvT, be aware of this.

ACE is not a requirement, it is an option. Read the description for info on that.

The values for armor are taken from the BWmod (BWA3) since that would be what most people used before this/instead of this. This makes it a decision based on looks rather than performance. If the vest would use the realistic values it would be a massive downside to use them over any level IV plates. So we may be a step back from realism to favour looks.

I also agree that this seems like an advantage for PvP, but to be brutaly honest, that's not what we are playing ourselfes. Call us selfish, but we have done this mod primarily for us and our unit.
I've got over 1700 hours of tactical ArmA 3 on record, playing mostly PvE, and I have never felt the difference in ballistical protection between vests, ACE was used since it's release.
ThatDudeAgain Jan 13 @ 9:36am
still you massively overtunde, it's got more bal. protection than the lvl IV vests wich got actual plates in it and you made ace a requirement so do you want realism or not....

how can a vest with no armo plates in it be better than one with em? its not comparing its german bias and makes your mod a total pvp nono ...
Herr_KaLeun  [author] Jan 13 @ 7:39am
@TheFrog1200: It gives us freedom in what we can do.
@ThatDudeAgain: Well, ArmA is a game. We tuned the vests so they compare to the other vests in ArmA, not to real life.
ThatDudeAgain Jan 13 @ 6:21am
Its "Lindnerhof" not "Linderhof", and there is something completely wrong with your understandings of ballisic protecion values. Splitterschutzwesten dont stop 5x 9mm bullets...

Jeah i know that these are two seperate mods, but i am asking why do you want to do quiet the same stuff. Is it just because you can or is there another intention?
Herr_KaLeun  [author] Jan 13 @ 5:55am
@TheFrog1200: Nope, this is a seperate mod.
TheFrog1200 Jan 13 @ 5:01am
Are not these uniforms included in the BWA3 Mod‽
Herr_KaLeun  [author] Jan 12 @ 5:17am
@Kerozen: Most probably not. We don't really have the time/recources to do everything we want to do for the German Armed Forces even.

I'm getting a little fed up, not gonna lie.
@P-F-G: 1. write in English, 2. Read the previous comments. Your question was already answered.
