What is Suppress about?
Video games generally can barely recreate one thing:
The fear of losing your life.
In reality, suppressing the enemy by sending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s of bullets is so effective because he's sure that sticking out his head will end his life-forever.
This can't be recreated, however, because you won't have that feeling when sitting in front of the PC.
Most players will return fire anyway or at least try to get a glimpse at who's shooting at them.
Usually, you wouldn't continue shooting when a bullet just flew right past your face.

This is especially frustrating when playing TvT missions and firing 100 rounds of a 7.62mm at him doesn't seem to bother the enemy.
This mod is supposed to change this dramatically.

How does it work?
The mod works with a value that checks how "suppressed" you are.
Bullets whizzing nearby (so that you can hear their supersonic crack) will suppress you a bit and nearby impacts will suppress you more.
The amount of suppression added to your suppression value depends on which ammo/weapon was shot at you.
(Firing a 7.62 will suppress more than a pistol...duh! :D)
The suppression value decreases quite fast over time, but not if you're getting shot at, so constant fire will keep you suppressed.
The actual suppression effect consists of an increasing tunnelvision, general blur aswell as a desaturated, bright screen.
You'll still be able to move around just fine, but identifying the enemy that is shooting at you from 100m away won't be possible.

As a little side-thingy, nearby impacting bullets will "scare" you and give you a small effect for ~ half a second.

Also, the mod is completely client-side but can be forced from the server.

I see that it has been adressed in previous comment but i really think you should make it so it affect the AI. Arma 3 vanilla supression system on AI is broken and all it does is make the AI kneel or go prone. Generaly when shooting an AI it will just stop wherever it stand even if it's in the middle of an open field, kneel, and start shooting back.
If you could find a way to make them run until they get to cover or only shoot with massive accuracy debuf when desperate (aka wounded to the leg and unable to run) that would be nice.

Looks like there's some strange behaviour when trying to run this off a dedi server. I've used this exact page to download onto the server, and then used the Arma3 launcher to download and load the same mod. Then, my server status turns red with a file mismatch - only does it for suppression mod. Any ideas? :/

is there a way to disable the effect for specific players, currently zeuses get supressed while in zeus view.

It's probably not possible to, but I have a suggestion, I would recommend you to make it like RO2 (red orchestra 2, my fav game) did it, it basically makes your aim INSANELY UNSTABLE that you can't hit anything further than 20m, and it makes your screen black and white, and a little bit chromatic abbreviation

@KRIStapszaa9[LV] it's a visual mod, so I can't give that to the AI haha. ArmA 3 has an AI suppression system anyway. :)

@LordShade no reuploads allowed. and i from my over 8 years of arma never saw that issue and i had more than 16 more loaded all the time. so there must be a issue with our server.

Whenever I load over 16 mods on our server (only the -mod parameter, not -serverMod), It gives an error when joining through the launcher.

The error reads: "Server can't transmit all data; some allowed mods might be missing or their signatures not recognized"

Arma 3's limitation to the number of mods that may be keyed to a server whilst still transmitting all data to vanilla launchers.

Allow me to add this mod in serverpackmods?
