Packified Animals

Description
With Alpha 16 of Rimworld, Tynan added the whole new world system and travel on the world map. When I was messing around with it I was a little disapointed that you can't have any general animal as a pack animal, only Muffalos and Dromedarys. so I just made a little mod to add that ability to some other large animals that you would expect to be able to carry things. Expect it to be unbalanced because I am sure that they have the 2 animal restriction for just that in the base game, thats what mods are for. If you have any problems with it just leave a comment and I will see what I can do about it.

It is currently updated to work on A17 only

Features: Makes some of the larger animals be useable as pack animals for caravans.

Currently Included is:
- Rhino
- Bears, Both Grizzy and Polar
- Elephant
- Thrumbo
- Cow
- Pig
- Megasloth (Bag does not fit right cannot be bothered to resize it ATM)

issues:
The Bags float above the sprites in large groups. This is a Vanilla bug and cannot fix
You might not be able to buy the new packified animals in caravans.

Compatiblity:

It seems to work fine on existing save games and can remove it without a problem. Do not expect it to work with other mods that edit the stats/race of these specific animals. Other pack animal mods should work with it aswell aslong as they don't edit the same animals

Other:

If you want some smaller animals Like dogs to do some packing for you, someone else has already made a mod for that so now this allows for some modularity between people who want large animals only, dogs only, or both

Hello there! Love finding these old mods too.. Archaeology one day at a time baybee!

Hello to.. Idk.. 2030? Only six years, can't be too much of a stretch I hope! 2050 here we come? Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress will simulate more than the known universe! Amazing...

Going through the workshop as a new player and finding these is like finding a fossil of the missing link

Anyone looking for a B19 / 1.0 equivelant to this mod you can check mine out: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1501052499

Note that if Dragoon_103 returns and requests my mod to be taken down, I'll happily do so. This will hopefully get everyone by until that happens. :)

I don't know of any alternatives! If nobody else wants to tackle the task I can have a replacement mod uploaded in a day or so. Most of the issues are because this mod doesn't use patches (Mod was created before they were introduced / widely used I think) so the changes to animal skins / leather is breaking it.

If there is an alternaitve / someone is already working on this though, I'll leave it be! :)

While it worked perfectly in B18, it definitely doesn't B19. Are there any plans to update this mod, or, if that's the not the case, does anyone know of a good alternative?

Note you don't need to edit anything, this works exactly as is, it just shows up red in the mod list.

I tested the mod today and can confirm it works, though I edited the "About" file in the mod folder to set it to the current build. Update the "target version" in the "About" file from 17.1557 to 18.1722 and it should work fine. I'm not sure if it works without doing this.

Anyone tested this mod? Does this work with B18 even without update? Thanks.
