Description
Tune your ambient sounds volumes individually

This mod is a fixed version of original Ambient Sounds Tuner mod. Read description there. In particular, you may be interested in how to create a sound pack[github.com]

You MUST unsubscribe original Ambient Sounds Tuner before using this mod! Even if sound packs require you to be subscribed to original version!

This version should be compatible with all exisiting sound packs, although I only tested it with The Metropolitan Sounds Pack and it worked without issues for me.

Don't forget that to be able to use sound packs you must enable this mod and sound packs in Content Manager. You must restart the game after enabling a sound pack for the first time to be able to select it in AST's settings.

If some sounds disappear, try to zoom out camera to max distance, then wait for few seconds, switch sound pack to default and back to your preffered pack in mod's options. Some sound pack may have their own issues. Please don't complain here!

Incompatibilities:
- original Ambient Sounds Tuner (obviously)
- maybe (test yourself!) some other mods that change ambient sounds in some way (although I haven't tested myself yet)
- maybe (test yourself!) ARIS mod pack (remove cows, remove seagulls, etc. - again, I haven't tested that myself yet)

Latest update:
UPDATE 2.1.0
Added: Added support for tram sounds ('Trams' and 'Tram Arrivals')

This mod uses awesome detours C# library[github.com] by cope. Without it, this mod would've been impossible to make.

@BloodyPenguin I can not activate the mods, it does not appear to activate and in option but I do not have the mods menu. Can you help me? Thank you

When I activate the mod, the laws panel does not open during the game.

I rarely comment on mods... but here I just must say something:
Aaaaah, no wind sound... aahhh, the silence, one can hear the birds chipping... aaah no wind.
I am so happy.

Oops I posted before I read the above. Sorry about that but if it was a long error message then I would have used paste bin automatically since its a no-brainer.

On a slightly developed map, a window appeared: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/952961283027187570/A41765DBE8A2500ED2AABDD5DE0A89B822B4AD80/ As I found out because of the conflict with Extra Vehicle Effects .
output_log_on_ExVE [upload.ee] and output_log_off_ExVE [upload.ee].
I do not know on the page which mod to apply for help, therefore I will duplicate.

My god man! Thank you! Now I can build roads without wanting to punch the screen after I've slit my wrists and pulled all my hair out. NOMO annoyin' noises. You sir are a great man.

@BloodyPenguin
I have to second LondSW's kudos. I can't imagine how much time and effort you and your modding crews spend just keeping up the coding on all the wonderful mods you have created for us. Just keeping them functioning through the continuous updates put out by the manufacturers must have you all pulling your hair out. And you do it for nothing...just to be nice.
Thank you soooo much for all your efforts, BP. So much appreciated.
