Description
Fixes scrollbar in the Launcher mod list (drag the circle to scroll, look at the addon thumbnail), and makes it double-wide!

That's it, that's all it does.

Click this paragraph and subscribe to the thread to be notified when I update the addon. That thread is locked so that only I can post in it. You will only get a notification when I release a new verison.

Do make sure you read the image above in detail.

Any time Paradox releases a new Stellaris version, you will need to repeat the process. When they do, you should wait for me to update the mod - if you extract the mod again before I update it, and it doesn't work with a new version of the game, just use the Steam validate game files option.

After you install the mod, if you do not disable it, this image will also pop up when you start a new game.

Hopefully some commonly asked questions can be added to the description if needed.

How to only fix the scroll bar without the doublewide mod list
1. Validate Steam files
2. Change line 286 in pdx_launcher/game/interface/launcher.gui to verticalScrollbar = "launcher_vertical_scrollbar2"

Thx for your fine work, @folk

#1 Would be nice to see 'un-check all mods' button, if possible.
#2 Would it be possible to save a specific mod pre-set for later load? Thinking about different mod lists for singleplayer and multiplayer. Playing with huge modlist, so it is terrible thing to remember the correct list. Plenty of dead savegame files...
#3 Could we get 'hoover' name for mods in the list...some of the names are quite long.

Very Good, my Friend

This is awsome! a developer actually actively communicating.

Excellent, then I can discontinue this mod.
Communication is key, please provide a channel that non-modders do not get access to.
IRC, steam group, or private forum. Or (shudder) Discord, if you must.

Thank you for the comments.

Thought I would also address the claim that we "do not give a flying fuck.". First time I heard about this was during my recent christmas vacation, I personally fixed it and made sure to communicate it to the one that reported it to me and you guys.

I'm the Project Lead of Stellaris, I decide who does what. Trust me, we do care about the game and our players. The game is nothing without our players and I'm so happy that you guys care so much about the game that you help us fix issues that we have missed.

Thanks for all the great mods you have created so far.

Yay!

Thanks for this mod!

This will be fixed in the next update (unclear when that will be released). It's broken because an incorrect texture is being used for the scroll "dragger".
How we fixed it
1. Open pdx_launcher/game/interface/launcher.gfx
2. Look for GFX_launcher_scroll_drager
3. Change texture from "ncp_scroll_down.dds" to "ncp_scroll_slider.dds"

Sorry for this being broken for such a long time.

Nice trick. That'll definately get a place in my toolbox.

I had fiddeled with the idea of opening the gui file i would be working on instead of the launcher, and then simply using a keypress shortcut to open and close. But i haven't gotten further with that idea den simply renaming files, which didn't cut it. hehe

I know, I don't use the tool.
