Demo is out
Description
You are trapped by a strange entity that toys with you and you must try to help your friends escape. A nightmare? A dream? Or reality?

The game is made up of two parts, the nightmare section and the visual novel section.

The visual novel section plays out like a visual novel with you and your friends trying to find out what's causing all of this. Solving puzzles and using deductive reasoning to find the perpetrator. During this time you also have to learn about who your friends really are to better help them during the nightmare.

The nightmare is an amalgumation of mechanics that come together to toy and manipulate you and your fellow classmates. Exploring the facility you've been trapped in and avoiding enemies to gain an upper hand agaisnt your captor.

Playing an unconventional turnbased system where you don't control the party directly. instead needing to sway the party to a particular playstyle or using limited use items to help them out.

If this gets through I'm considering doing a Kickstarter so that I can do this full time and get an artist. The video is pretty rough but I hope it gets across the style that I am going for.

Should it not, just means development will take awhile and it may take a back seat whilst I do smaller projects in the mean time.

This is a one man band so be gentle o:

Demo should be available soon.

Thanks for reading.

It looks like an interesting real life vs hallutionation type deal, set in a school setting, which is quite the contrast that you often don't see.

I hope you can make this into a full game eventually, even if you can't work on it full time!

Kickstarter is an option should this get greenlit, if it doesn't it just means development will take longer because I wouldn't be able to do this full time.

Showing off the game in this early state was pretty selfish, but I had been making this for quite awhile and needed some input so I kinda just splerted this video out.

Other than that, working on the demo.

A conurrent Kickstarter is bad enough, but you're the first dimwit I've seen to submit somthing before you're even sure if you want to attempt crowdfunding. This is unacceptable.

You seem to misunderstand the point of greenlighting a project, this is for voting on projects that are nearly completed so that they will go onto the Steam storefront to BE purchased, not to languish in Early Access while you kickstart for money in the HOPES that your game could turn out like you expect. I wish you all of the best...but I'm going to vote no because this project is clearly prematurely here.
