SNIPER BLACKLIST: Wind and Elevation Adjustments for all Missions and Sniper Challenges
By \\'`ƁĪƓƓǛǸŜ57'//
I will attempt to help you in the basic adjustments needed to get thru all missions ,challenges and achievements to date. The only keys needed are the AAROWS up, down, left, right (adjustments for wind and elevation) , SPACE bar (hold breath) and MOUSE (to fire on target)) plus the mouse MIDDLE SCROLL (zooming in on target) .

Wind Adjustments
When each mission or challenge begins you will notice a ANEMOMETER to the left bottom of your scope.Watch as the wind blowing will be from either the left or right in MPH . Wind blowing left or right mph adjust either side that many CLICKS or taping the AAROW key left or right. So a 3 mph wind blowing left adjust the right arrow 3 clicks . Another example wind blowing 13.5 mph right adjust left arrow key 14 clicks left. Wind blowing left 4.2 adjust right arrow key 4 clicks .So round off as needed and you should be good. Again a wind blowing left 14.9 should look like Windage 1.5 to the right. Wind blowing right at 7 .3 mph should look like Windage 0.7 to the left. A 2 mph wind to the right would look like Windage 0.2 to the left.
Elevation Adjustments
All my numbers here have since been updated to precise .I came up with this chart during the Training session and used it for all Missions and Sniper Challenges. You will now use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to make adjustments for elevations. An example of an adjustment would be at 516m you would use the Up aarow key 14 clicks to set Elevation at 1.4. Another example a distance of 1050m you will click or tap the UP aarow key 30 clciks to set Elevation at 3.0 . Again if you had to drop elevation from 430m to 360m you would use the DOWN aarow key to set Elevation 1.0 or 2 clicks down . You will always have to deviate from this chart as the distances change in both missions and challenges by adding or subtracting . In the first Sniper Challenge 1, I used a simple elevation chart of 1.0 to 400m 2.0 to 700m then 866m- 2.5 1012m 3.0 and 1163-3.3 to finish in 1:12:39 time .I had my scope zoomed in the entire round.

Elevation Chart
  • 175m and under -0.0
  • 275m-0.7
  • 360m-1.0
  • 430m-1.2
  • 516m-1.4
  • 644-1.7
  • 749-2.0
  • 859m-2.5
  • 1050m-3.0
  • 1194m-3.5
  • 1343m-4.0
  • 1723m-5.0

Another example where you will need to deviate from this chart will be a yellow target 980m in Sniper Challenge 4 which is somewhere in between 859m and 1050m and I adjusted to Elevation 2.8 or 28 clicks UP aarow . Make use of your mouse SCROLL to zoom in and out and adjust from the bullet strike on any target. Your breathing will also cause your scope to drift up and down so pay attention to the pattern and use your SPACE bar to hold your scope still..
Some examples on how your scope should look

Final Note
I'm not going to tell you its going to be easy as there will be extreme wind conditions many times that will challenge you . Not to mention you will be going against a timer in challenges and you will be forced to adjust fast and have to be accurate when doing so. You will panic and many times fail. But if you continue to try you will get better setting up the windage and elevation back and forth as needed. Again my numbers are as exact as possible and it worked for me thru out the game .Thank You for veiwing my guide and I hope this can help you at least a little if not more.
