Roughly a year after the global cataclysm known as the Seven Hour War, a cordon was established on the outskirts of a major Eastern European city by the new Combine regime, for the purpose of organizing the influx of refugees arriving from around the globe. Packed together in squalid conditions and severely abused, these refugees were processed and organized according to their usefulness to the Combine industrial machine.

Children were separated from their families in order to be sent to preparatory institutions, prompting savage riots and the eventual liquidation of the district. Now, many years later, terminal 6 serves merely as a stopover for citizens waiting for their next transfer, with only faint scars there to remind of those brutal early days.

**Terminal 6 is a medium sized Half-Life 2 roleplaying map centered around a bus terminal in a light industrial area. The map focusses on providing a detailed set with many unique interiors and hidden locations.**

***KNOWN BUGS**

-Somewhat bad frames in places. This is due to a lazy vvis compile, and will hopefully be improved in the next version
-Areaportal fade broken on lower floor nexus door
-Some missing models on collapsed brick building
-Some console spam in certain areas of the map. Fix it by inputting this into your console,
con_filter_text "R_DrawDecalsAll" ; con_filter_text_out "R_DrawDecalsAll" ; con_filter_enable 2

You're encouraged to report any bugs you see! I will be releasing a hotfix in the near future.

NOTICE: Many of the doors in the map will be permanently locked in singleplayer. This is because the map must be set up in a roleplaying gamemode with the appropriate doors set to be "Combine only". I'm only vaguely familiar with the technicalities of this.

This map requires that Half-Life 2: Episode 1 & 2 and Counter Strike: Source are mounted.

when i try to open the map it goes back to the menu

in the area near the back of the map where the brick apartment is, there is just white brushes along the road. they seem to not be brushes but they are placed/rotated where a prop should be

I have HL2 EP2, EP1, CS:S and i downloaded required extra content and i still have some missing models and textures

It's not a computer Issue, I think it has to do with maybe conflicting addons. Or the map is just broken idk. It doesn't load for me either.

I liked this map, but it never loads. It'll start loading, but take me straight back to the main menu. I have every Half Life game and CS:S installed (and activated in-game), as well as your content pack. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad that you appreciate it. I had considered revamping the map after the recent Gmod update which increased entity and brush limits and such, but I had some trouble getting all of the assets I needed together. That said, if any enterprising mapper is up to the task of making a new version of the map, they are welcome to contact me to arrange that.

I'd just like to say this map is so aesthetically pleasing, it's got such a grimey nature to it and looks awesome. Especially for being a beta! I'd love to see an update but of course Hammer isn't fun to waste hours on haha.
