Colorful Icons

Description
Are you tired of that bluish color of all icons?
If yes, I have solution for you!
AMAZING COLORFUL ICONS ULTIMATE ENHANCER MOD 4000!

Use on any server
You can use this mod as plugin, so it will work even on server that don't have this mod installed.

Subscribe to Plugin Loader, follow instructions there to make it work (subscribing is not enough) and then you can enable colorful icons in the the game's main menu (there will be new button "Plugins").

Configure it to your liking
You can set which icons you want to replace. You can choose to enable or disable block, components, ingots, ores, tool and you can also use old components icons.
Options can be changed via chat commands:
/ci /ci help shows help /ci list lists all options /ci status shows which options are enabled /ci enable [option] enables option /ci disable [option] disable option
Or with user interface if you have Text HUD API mod (this is optional, you don't need Text HUD API for this mod to work).
Open chat and press F2. In the top left corner mod menu will apear. You can control it with your mouse.

Also there is option to fix tool colors. It swaps tool colors so that same tier tools have same (or similar) colors. It isn't perfect and it will be probably updated in the future.

This mod contains colored original textures of:
  • Ores
  • Ingots
  • Components
  • Weapons and tools
  • Blocks
  • Includes icons for Decorative pack #1, Decorative pack #2, Economy Deluxe, Frostbite, Sparks of the Future, Wasteland, Warfare 1, Heavy Industry DLC and Warfare 2

Colorful icons are in inventory, assembler and in required components table when building blocks.

Thanks Deathfather for helping out with Warfare 2 update.

There is on Mod.io: https://mod.io/g/spaceengineers/m/colorfulitems
It should work, but sometimes things happen, I don't own any console so I can't test it properly.

Invisible ingot crafting icon is fixed. These crafting icons have different definitions and when I was generating these new renamed assembler definitions entries, I left wrong path there.

This mod changes the game, and should be part of the base game. i cant play space engineers without this mod!

good evening, players are reporting that survival kit production icons are invisible now. do those need to be addressed separately from basic and full assembler production menus? tysm.

Sorry, notification seemed to be for one comment, didn't read the rest. I'll check it out and fix it tomorrow.

I think that the best way would be to make separate mod for icons from mods. That way I don't increase mod size for every one. Source code is on GitHub, you can copy it from there, or we could make it so that this mod would support addon mods. All logic would be here and addon mods would contain only textures and config.

Well... I managed to include the colored tech safe zone icons in my tuning mod.
Maybe I can do this for the other tech icons, with the help of Ash Like Snow's ModAdjusterV2.
If you change your mind about including tech icons in your mod. I can provide the materials as soon as I have them made.

Yes... The gravel icon is only visible in the mount queue.
