Description
A small test chamber that should be quite more difficult than it seems... Can you get that cube past the fizzlers?

Stuck? Here you have some hints!
Hint 1: Yeah, you have to fling the cube while you are on the button next to the catapult.
Hint 2: Found a way to go back to the catapult area? Now try to find a different one!
Hint 3: Crooked thing comes in, crooked thing comes out!

Yeah, I've been thinking about bringing the Faith Plate back too. I'll most likely do it in a further update. You don't have to bring the cube to the first button at all, though...

I think it's more cool to perform the jump in first person rather than watching the cube do it. Plus, the puzzle is a bit more complex that way (you're in one side of the map when the cube is in the other one). It sucks that you sometimes get stuck at the panel, but I rarely need more than 3 attempts to perform it... just press the back key when you're falling down and it should work... ;)

if you want to avoid the confusion of faith plates being able to be used for momentum, just place the target on a non portable surface.

Feedback: I disagree with the decision to turn the faith plates into portable surfaces. This makes one panel entirely useless and a big fat red herring, as you can simply get the cube to the fizzler button side through portals. With the faith plate setup, it would be possible to position the cube next to a portal and grab it when flying out but this seems ridiculous to try and pull off for non ninja players like myself, so with the plate there would be a valid reason for the second panel to be there. Also, I wouldn't put any faith plate or portable surface past the permanent fizzler. There is no time you will need this in the solution and it only serves further confusion. The puzzle is tricky enough as is, without these things. The portable walls on the side were somewhat obviously not useful early on for me, but they don't have a use either. If you can somehow make the solution more smooth or work on those points I mentioned I think this would be a very good map.

Alright, I'm pretty sure I have your intended way now. I couldn't finish it before, thought about it at work (that's a good thing), and had that a-ha moment after a few minutes of concentration. Get cube to side with the fizzler button. Go to panels area, place portal on ceiling above left panel, one on the floor under the dropper. Go through and place ceiling portal on panel, fly out to fizzler button side. Kill the cube and the next will come flying through as you stand on the button. Neat solution, but executing it was NOT easy. It seems funneling is disabled or something when trying to land on a panel into the portal. Also one time I did manage to pull it off, but my portal was not oriented perfectly straight and I flung into a wall and into the goo. It was more enjoyable to do for the cube. It's not horrible, but maybe something you should consider.

Your solution is not the intended one but it comes dangerously close!
I've just released an update blocking your solution and other ones reported at ThinkingWithPortals. The correct way to solve it hasn't changed, but the puzzle has become slightly more complicated now.

What I did was place the cube on the floor on the portable floor, laser field side, get back, go through fizzler, place portal under cube so it would fall straight, place next portal on ceiling above angled panel, portal panel with the one the cube fell out of, so the cube comes out the floor portal in an angle towards me, catch cube. I hope that's the intended way, because it sure was easier than trying to hit the laser field side panel after being flung by the panel that brings you back to the starting area.

OK... Just released an update! It might still be possible to perform that jump if you have ultra-ninja skills, but now it should be obvious you're not supposed to do it...

Can you record a demo? The intended solution requires some mid-air portaling but it shouldn't be too hard to execute. It might still require a few tries until you get the hang of it, though...

I think I broke your map as my solution requires placing a portal accurately while in mid air.
