Hughmungus Rafts

(Picture is just a highlight of how far it can go, I have yet to find the limit of the raft boundaries.)

Credit to EnC Henrik and EnC ExileAcid for the castle building parts displayed in the picture.

Everyone Patch 747 has disabled the expansion of foundations on rafts.
You must enable a server setting called "Allow Platform Saddle Multi Floors" which will then revert it back to a normal state.

I also recommend this mod for raft building.

Known Mod Conflicts:
Stackable Foundations do not work to extend the limits of the raft.

A raft mod that is not advised to be used on any public server due to the massive stress. It may cause server crashes if multiple super large rafts are used simultaneously, use at your OWN RISK.

This is my first mod i've ever created if you have any issues I may or may not be able to support you with the matter.

How to bypass the vanilla restrictions on the raft:
Use thatch roofs to extend beyond the limits and add a foundation under it, then remove the thatch roofs to reveal the regular foundation. To lower the initial roof the pillar/foundation trick is needed. Place a wooden pillar over/around the sail and then hide the sail, then add a wooden or foundation type of your choosing and destroy the pillar and add another on the foundaiton you just placed, repeat to get lower.

What this mod changes:
Build distance vanilla: 1400/ Changed to 50000
Structure distance height vanilla: 1100/ Changed to 50000
Max structures vanilla: 70/ Changed to 10000

Extra Information:
Level 0/ 0 Engram Points and 1 thatch to build the raft.
Mod ID: 800094071

You should make a No structure limit Dino Platform

Actually, almost eaxh of the tribes on our "Water World" server uses Hughmundus rafts for their swimming bases, villages, and farms.

My Hughmundus-based raft is almost 40 floors long, and 16 floors wide. Our tribe has a high observation tower on the raft, that is over 40 walls high. The highest floor (the "Rainforest" floor) stands 10 walls above the main deck, and the underwater area (we use these underwater-base parts) goes down 6 walls below the foundations. Screenshots are on my profile. This is a very good mod.

@zoey Ark foundations are supposedly 3k Unreal units, but that boat in the screenshot looks bigger than 16 foundations. I'll boot up in single player later and see if I can build out to the max

@polish From my knowledge it's not a percentage, it's a hard value. So 50k. If I am wrong which I could very well be, I have yet to reach the limitations of the raft. As you can see in the snapshots that's a massive raft.
polishweener Nov 12, 2018 @ 12:57pm
@zoey I see you overrided the values to 50000 but I figured that was Unreal units, which tend not to be very big. About how many foundations is 50k?
Zoey  [author] Nov 12, 2018 @ 12:03pm
@polish This mod changes the hard set values to a unneeded amount. I don't see why you would need to change them again?

Is there an ini setting to override the build distance and height? I upped the structure number in my server settings and disabled the need for foundation support using S+, but I can't seem to find a raft mod that lets me override the distance and height limits as they're always hard set :/

I know Hugh and he normally doesn't pull his douchebag bigot gaslighting stunts around witnesses, but sometimes he's too high to realise there's anyone else in the store before he starts in on the shopkeepers. He totally might really have been thinking about his stomach though when he came up with the name. He does great edgework.
Hirnsausen Jan 10, 2018 @ 10:55pm
I did all the INI settings, but still cannot place the beautiful Akushima Reinforced Wood foundations. Nor can I place the S+ metal foundations.

Strange is, that I was able to use them before, around June 2017 or so. Any advise, dear developer?
