Queer Quest is a queer-as-♥♥♥♥ point-and-click adventure game! Think a gay Monkey's Island meets a feminist Leisure Suit Larry. You follow Lupe, a long haired butch with a heart of gold who lives with her super hot girlfriend Alexis. That is, until one day Alexis gets kidnapped! You gotta help Lupe navigate the gayborhood, and decipher clues to find out what happened to Alexis!

This game is about how queer community responds to tragedy, and about self care in the community. If you're interested in why this is such a gay game, here's more information:

If you want to help, we are also on Kickstarter!

"Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be playing a video game about our actual lives! We’re so ready." - Huffington Post:

- This game will be made regardless of the Kickstarter's success. It will just take a lot longer to be released without the funding.

- An average of 7 games a day get released on Steam, searching 'queer' on Steam store today only shows 11 games (4 are versions of R.O.M.). We'd love to make that list a little longer! (source: )

@noeckerfamily I comment on this page because third wave feminism is a cancerous hate group that purports hateful leftist fascism, and this game is definitely political. There's a character that "hates capitalism" and "hates the patriarchy". How ironic that "justice warriors" fight for a system built on theft, silencing dissent and oppression.

I don't have to make a game in order to criticise a game, just like I don't have to run for president in order to criticise the president. What kind of backwards logic is that?

This game doesn't contribute to society in anyway, in fact, the politics behind it are going to stifle and regress society.

@AWESOMEO for a game that you say is stupid, you're sure spending a lot of time commenting on it.

I love that anything that covers a topic you don't like, is a 'political agenda'. Go get busy making your own games, creating art, building a business, creating things, or contributing to society. Then you'll learn that no matter what you create, people will bash it. Here's an idea... don't like it? Move along.

"So many threatened, small minded babies raging against a GAME. Sad. Do they even realize that their hateful comments are PROVING the developer's point, that there is a need for games like this?"

No one is raging. The opposite, this is hilarious to sane people. Besides, comments dismantling the politics of the author are in no way reaffirming the politics of the game, rather, they prove why they're useless and bigoted.

"An adventure game about alternate sexualities: "homoagenda", "propaganda", "unnecessary", etc.

A softcore porn game full of half-naked barely legal girls: "omg take my money!!"

"homoagenda" is not something we made up; it is literally the IGN of the author of the game.

You are making a false analogy, here gay people are used as a political tool, but in games where nudity is used they are never used to promote a political agenda or a marxist ideology.

Try harder, liberal.

So, another non-game walking simulator to join the ranks of such masterpieces as Gone Home and Oppression quest? Nah, I'll pass, please don't fund this turd.

So yeah, I just pointed out this game to be stupid in my opinion and explained why.

And yeah I agree it's very early and it might even be good when it comes out, but it'll never be good in my opinion if it is tarnished by this weird fetish with sexualities and how everyone has to see and hear how queer people interact with things.

That is a bigoted thing, and I find it so funny that these people think the opposite way.

"I wont get out of my way to prove how much the developper ideas are wrong - well, maybe in some case of complete racist dumbassery if I see something akin to a "kill the niggers" game... But even then I'll probably just flag it and move to the next greenlight entry."

And was I? I just said why I think this game is a political device, I didn't freak out or went out of my way. I won't flag this game because I believe that if she wants to make a racist, sexist and bigoted game about how "queer" people react and behave differently than straight people then she can go ahead, but she will have to face the backlash of people criticising it (and I saw many people who did, but I just wanted to go in depth and explain why it is the way it is) and I won't ever try to censor her (unlike what her SJW friends do to innocent people who criticize their insolence).

"You could've deleted all those comments and open a thread with everything you said in it.
It would even have been easier to read. And to edit."

Well yeah but now that I think about it it's better that people see it here and not have to enter a thread for it, how did homoagenda call it? "make noise"? lol.

I agree that video games have different views and political ideas, but instead of being rooted in the game and brought out by the characters it is the title of the game, 90% of what the description talks about and IGN of the author. If that isn't forcing an agenda as the theme of the game I don't know what is.

I have no problem with "queer" (which is a word to describe gay people that want to stand out) characters if that isn't what their identity is formed around. If it's just mentioned casually or the person has sex with their own sex I coudln't give a shit but that person makes it seem like this is all that matters, whether this person is queer or not.
