We can't thank everyone of you enough for the support you showed us, and how much it means to us ...
For the bottom of our hearts ... THANK YOU !

Gameplay footage is live !
In a few words :

Set in a distant future, this Point&Click relates the story of Arcadia Walker, a former soldier now-turned smuggler and Captain of the Bastille. Caught with her crew in an ongoing civil war between the ever powerful Interplanetary Federal Government (IFG) and the dissident Indigo Order, Arcadia finds herself forced back onto the front-line she desperately fled before.
And with war, come choices.
And with choices...come consequences.

About the game :

Up-World is a point and click game inspired by the games of the early 90's as well as some later iterations of the genre.
The emphasis is put on an enticing narrative carried by a comprehensive universe filled with lore as well as a diverse cast of protagonists with relatable motives and stories.
The game will have a notable replay value due to the different endings depending on the player's decisions.
Graphics, though heavily pixel oriented are not strictly speaking pixel art. The idea is to keep that 90's feeling but with some more modern artistic tricks.

What do we have so far: A free demo!

We have made a tech-demo.
This was the first scene we were working on while testing the Visionaire Engine. As we kept adding features to test the engine capacity, we decided to put it in a playable state and release it for free.
As the demo is not a part of the real game, there are no spoilers to fear.

The demo can be downloaded here: Download Page []

We have a website/devblog running:
it features updates on the game advancement and a weekly-ish podcast by the two main developers.

We also have a Facebook page, do not hesitate to give us a look if you feel like it!

win 10 laptop. it would be better if the cursor changed shape. the white layer may be hard to see due to brightness settings for example. as for the wrist blinking that could also be hard to see. Since you didn't quote me I didn't recieve a notification that you responded to me.

Thank you for the vote ! :)

The Cursor idea is a very good one !
So good in fact that it should be the way it actualy works in the demo ! :p
(white layer over the mouse + blinking screen on the wrist)
The fact that it is not working with you might be related to your OS...
Can you tell me what plateform (win / mac / linux) you are using ?

got my yes vote however a few minor things. 1 the cursor should change when over something that can be interacted with etc.

2. subtitles said ship instead of shuttle in the demo.

3. also hey? instead of eh? in the subtitles.

Seems like pretty good point&click game. The graphics look nice.

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at .

Good luck with the development!
