Whichever weapon you deside to max out for Yourself our Your Settlers, just remember, it's about the numbers.

Recent update the "Nightvision and Recon vision" don't benefit the AI's so you can just go with Long Range Scopes.

I have come to suspect that the AI ignores "Night" and possibliy other low light conditions.
