Take control of the airspace with Radar Commander !
Manage your weapons and protect your radar site from waves of enemies.
Compete on the global leaderboards with other commanders in survival mode.
Immerse yourself thanks to highly polished GUI and very detailed soundscape.

Radar Commander wants to provide an immersive yet easy to grab experience, with a fast action / strategic gameplay easy to learn but hard to master.

From your radar stations you can control 3 main weapons, by deciding when, where and who to fire :

- CIWS (Red shape): highly effective close range automatic defence system. Simply orient it, and it will automatically shoot downs enemies and missiles.

- Missiles (Blue shape): lock up to 3 targets and engage them with advanced long range missiles.

- Artillery (Yellow shape): double click to fire high powered artillery shells that inflict a wide area damage.

Supply planes will drop strategically important power-ups, manage them and use them when essential. Among the supplies you can receive are, friendly fighters support, repair kits, weapon improvements and even nuclear shells to clear out great portions of the sky.

Radar Commander was born for touch screens but working on it we found us enjoying it a lot on PC too, so here it is. The larger screens and mouse precision improve a lot the experience.
Think of it as a modern take on the old classic Missile Command with some tower defence and atc elements.

Check out the iOs version of the game :

About Linux : we can't yet commit to a Linux version as we have close to no experience with it. BUT, we are using Unity game engine so in principle it should be easy to build for it. If anybody is interested, email us at to join linux beta program and help us bring Radar Commander to Linux too.

Price : This is surely not a hugely extensive game, we where thinking of something around the 2$ price mark, it wants to provide some fast, fun and tense gaming sessions and scoreboards should add a little challenge and competition to it.

despiseusername : Thanks, you are right should have put info the price, correcting now. And yes it will be something around 1.99$, it's surely not an extensive game, but it provides (at least we hope so) a fast, fun and tense gaming session .

sorry if asked but you should put what price it is. looks like at most like a 1.99 or .99 game. if at that price point and if pr written correctly you could have a decent number of sales on steam or people will go look up the mobile version and buy that one instead. Either way if priced right and pr is done right on the store page with the mobile version being disclosed you should not generate anger for a mobile port being put on steam.

Looks interesting and surprisingly complex yet easy to learn.

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at .

Good luck with the development!

So boring, NO

Ok, I take back my earlier criticism. This game is more complex than I thought. Changing my vote to "yes".

About Radar update : contact position and velocity vector get recorded when the green line passes over them, velocity vector as read at that moment is used to "guess" contact movement (but if Ai turns, radar won't know it until next green line pass). The, each weapon has it's own very focused radar, so contacts inside one of the weapons "cones" are precisely updated.
