Description
Story

John is one of the few left on earth in a reality not too far from ours. He wanders through the city, suffering a thick poisonous smog, struggling with his memories of how he got here. Earth has been abandoned; humanity has escaped to a cleaner planet. The few that stayed behind are slowly dwindling in number, hiding from a military force who have been sent to Earth to quell those that try to fight against their careless destruction of its resources.

The player experiences the game through a first person narrative in which a series of flashbacks reveal how the Earth came to be this desolate wasteland.

Development

All That Remains is a first person adventure that focuses on narrative, an immersive world, and a chilling atmosphere. Created by a small indie development team, John's journey through past and present was made to be an emotional and memorable experience.

-

Features

  • An engaging interactive narrative/walking simulator.
  • A deep and original narrative told through the world and your memories.
  • Stealth and exploration elements seamlessly blended into experiential game play.
  • Original score featuring 6 unique songs.
  • Short and sweet (30-40 minute play through).
  • All videos are 100% in game, unaltered footage.
  • Near completion!

-

Improvements

All That Remains is currently feature and content complete. If green lit we plan to release soon after, pending:
  • Improvements to environment detail and textures.

Looking good, which engine is this?

I'd be more willing to upvote this if we actually had any idea how the game was played, what the gameplay mechanics are, etc. Right now it just looks like a fog simulator.

If you actually have gameplay elements such as Stealth, it is unadvisable to call your game a walking simulator.

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at www.thegdwc.com .

Good luck with the development!

Feeling good.

Looks like a non-horror Silent Hill 2 clone in first person view.

Though I don't think this deserves to be downvoted, at the same time it doesn't seems to be interesting to me. I don't know...

Also, the title of the game reminds me of that heavy metal band.

Very unexciting trailer. I appreciate your game might be slow paced and not every trailer needs explosions, but a few essentially static shots of landscapes with a "what's going on?" voice over doesn't really sell the game.
