Description
Overview: [ SB Version 1.3 Compatible ]
This mod removes the starting pet and allows you to buy which ever starting pet you wish.
Buy pets at Infinity Express
Use Pet trap to remove unwanted pets.
This mod will remove custom pets of custom races if they use the vanillia method of spawning ( tech station ).
But you won't be able to buy custom race pets without a seperate mod.

if you just remove the mod, the vanillia pet comes back. It won't be the same color since it spawns a new instance but the vaniilia one does come back

I was searching in the comments and have not found clear answer - can i restore my default spawned ship pet?

That's because you are using another mod that either uses a custom tech station or overwrites the vanillia tech station.

Is pet trap bugged for anyone else ? I place it on my ship to remove a pet, but the cat just phases in and out of existence.

The changes in 1.4 had no affect on the mod so it works fine

They probably changed the actual code later ( if they did update it ) then simply kept the old version for sake of compatability.

I checked your petTrap.lua. You wrote the function as entity.posistion() instead of entity.position(). Somehow it still works. How?
