Cockpit Pack

The perfect skinpack to design your cockpit!

I present to you my first skinpack, the cockpit pack. This pack is targeted at advanced players, and mods is a must have if you want to customize your cockpit to the maximum.

Users will have the opportunity to build detailed attitude indicators, on/off switches, levers and nameplates. These will indicate what things mean, and give a more detailed description for your first person experience.

If you want to see the pack in action, used to its full potential, check out the Void which I co-released with the skinpack to demonstrate its perks.

The Cockpit pack replaces textures and models of the following blocks:
  • Ballast - ON button
  • Ball Joint - Ball joint without ball
  • Balloon - One sided plate
  • Double Wooden Block - Oval, to be scaled down to half height for an orb
  • Grabber - One sided circle
  • Piston - OFF button, meant for reversed toggle to clip inside ON button
  • Plow - Two sided frame, One sided glass. you can only see out from the inside, not the other way around.
  • Single Wooden Block - Nameplate block, "Landing gear", "VTOL" and "Engine" written on sides.
  • Spike - Two sided crosshair. Diffrent motive on each side.
  • Steering Hinge - Lever. Easy as that.
  • Unpowered Wheel - Inverted faces orb, meant for attitude indicator.

If you like it, please don't forget to rate and comment!

This is great stuff you put together, these items make my planes come to life! I am also having some trouble with the on and off switches. Hope i can manage to figure them out after some testing. But thank you much!

@Neutex this is AMAZING! I usually needed to make cockpit grids with small woooden blocks and braces, but now I can just take a Plow and ez pz done! I'm just working on a Junkers Ju 88A, and it works the best there (3 cockpits there you know)

Either you just edit the texture file or you edit the model (if you know 3d modelling)
There's a template folder to use in besiege/besiege_data/skins/
I recommend cloning the folders that you want to modify, so you don't lose the originals.

How exactly do you make skins for Besiege?
