Welcome to the Greenlight!
Description
Release date: 3rd quarter 2016
"Boris the vampire is a Player Choice Adventure Game with an immersive story that is a perfect blend of seriousness and comedic ironies"

Delve into the mystery of Elvindale as you, Boris find yourself at the scene of a murder and you partake an investigation to prove yourself innocent while being chased down by a vampire hunter, only to face a rather mind boggling turn of events. Who did this and why have they done it? time is your enemy as you must decide his fate...

You will have to make crucial and important decisions that draw a path for your overall outcome. You would need to be careful of what you say, and pay attention to detail. The situation may seem hilarious in the beginning, but will slowly absorb your time as you step forward into the story.

Features
  • Story Driven-Bored of the usual hack/slash/tap/click games that invest your real time with meaningless/no effect on your productivity? Well, Boris the Vampire is isn't one of those. This game is a story driven RPG with less battle mechanics and more story-telling. We have focused most of our time here because we know stories are what captures the experiences and emotions of the players.

  • You're a vampire, on a vampire hunt!- We intended to keep the game light hearted and enjoyable. With the kind of story we have set up, we're sure you'll go crazy over the comedic situations our protagonist gets himself into. Of course being true to the vampire stereotype, Boris the vampire needs to feast on human blood to survive. Don't worry though! The victim will only end up in a hospital for a few days. Don't get caught though!

  • Multiple Endings- What good game doesn't have multiple endings? We have up to 3 different endings planned for our last episode, each one equally promising. You have our word for it!

Good luck with your game, I hope it makes it on to Steam, it sucks to see devs who’ve worked hard get hate. Anyway, I help run a group called Greenlight's Best Games, we are one of the biggest groups that do showcases of Steam games and your game would perfect for our users. If you want us to make a post to our users, we’ll need some more information about your game, so add me on this account and I’ll message you so we can discuss the details and get all the information we need!

@Ferrettomato: I'm sorry you feel that way about the mechanics, but let me tell you that there are indeed no mechanics in the game, as intended. We began this project as a story-telling RPG and is intended to cater to the audience who loves such games.
Also, the other category of games in question is the new trend of games where repetitive grinding for XP is required to progress in the game. The paragraph is a disclaimer that we have no such things. Thank you.

I'd like to suggest that you add in an Easter Egg featuring Borat the Vampire. "My Undead Wife!" - *bites neck* very naice!"

Please message me after you have a rough draft - TIA!

The whole "Story Driven" paragraph seems to have terribly flawed logic. Believe it or not, people aren't bored of games with lots of mechanics and gameplay, because that's what makes a game a game. You also stated earlier in the description that the game will "slowly absorb your time", which is what you seem to use against more combat-oriented games. Are you just using the story as an excuse for visibly poor gameplay? If that's the case, perhaps you'd be better off writing a book.

I'm curious to know why my earlier comment was deleted.

@littlephoneix yea your right that was an enhancement feature for daylight time that will more than likely be reduced and changed to accurately fit the tone.

the intro mkes you think this game is drk nd gritty... then you go to the screenshots and "wow thats... Vivid and bright...".

I know its nitpicking, but the title is suppose to give a firt impression and its first impression is different to the rest of the screenshots impression.
