Morthal +

And my boringness goes into the 4th round.
Some of you knew it already, some suggested it and the others didnt care what I'd do next.

Morthal used to be bigger and have more population (especially more young men) but as we know the Great War cost many lives, like young nords from Morthal...naive unexperienced young nords. The city lacks people to garrison more guards, to get the economy going and to procreate to evolve the city. It will take some generations for this city to grow up again. You dont go to war without professional soldiers.

(Remember Idgrod? The Jarls daughter? I never understood why the game doesnt let you marry her by default, this citys family tree really needs to grow bigger)

"Due to its isolation and lagging economy, Morthal remains of little strategic importance in the war. The city's lumber mill appears to be its only source of trade, a point which the citizens show concern for." - TES Wiki

That still doesnt mean your Hold Capital has to stay unprotected and even vulnerable to bandits or animals. What do you do if your city lacks economy, is unprotected but you still have a lumbermill? You at least try to secure it with cheap wood stockades!

Many of you will ask why I didnt fully enclose the city on some spots, its simple: You need more population if you want to built up a real city defence even if its cheap wood.

As always subscribe, rate and share it.

(If there are any mistakes with the grammar, forgive me im german)

damn it, I didn't know you'd made more of these. love these mods. add that extra bit of realism that I was looking for. well done on the defenses.

I've always wondered why the hell some of these major towns are so weakly defended (no wall, few guards, etc.). Good job!

there were many single men and women in the game that i felt should have been marragible such as Elisif the fair (the jarl of Solitude) and Ingrod the younger. I wondered why Bethesda didn't include them.
