How to get it?
At Hotel Kronsky in Aralbad.

Spoilers ahead:

The Bar Quest starts after James (the automaton nurse) brings Madame Helena Romanski to the bar and you talk to her about 'Hans'.

She mentions a cocktail mixed for her by a barman named George at the Hotel Meuritz. It helped her during a cold tour to get her voice back on track. She was very pleased with the effects to her voice, but the bartender refused to tell her the recipe as to remain irreplaceable in his trade.

The hotel sounds familiar because it appears on the pamphlet you got from the reception ( at the register desk), albeit spelt incorrectly. Its telephone number is written on the pamphlet (464 33643). Call the Paris hotel using your cell phone. Unfortunately, you will find out that he no longer works at the Meuritz, but the current barman gives you the recipe for the Blue Helena Cocktail he left.

The Blue Helena Recipe

The Blue Helena in-game recipe:
  • 1 measure of vodka
  • 1 measure of blue curacao
  • 1 measure of honey
  • a dash of lime
  • add ice cubes
  • shake

In other words, 1 oz vodka, 1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur, 1 tsp honey and 1 oz lime juice.
To mix it, combine vodka, blue curacao, lime juice, and honey in a shaker with ice. Shake well, then pour through a strainer into a cocktail glass containing ice. And Voila! Makes 1 serving.

Besides being a vodka-based solution to a puzzle, it can be mixed in real life too with nice results. It is similar to a Kamikaze and it has a pretty blue. A new drink is always welcomed to a party!

How to mix it?
First you have to get all the ingredients into the mixer station.

Examine the top shelf of the bar carefully. There's a rolled up set of instructions (near the middle) and three empty dispensers (3).
1. Bottle. You have the vodka bottle ( from Colonel Charov). Put it into the left side spot.
2. Lime. Now look down below the bar on the right. In the fridge you will find a lemon and a bottle of crystallized honey. Put the lemon into the lemon squeezer on the left.
3. Honey. The honey is crystallized so you'll need to get it into liquid form. Go around the other side of the pool to the hot tub. Turn on the steam by turning the wheel on the wall, then put the honey into the hot tub. This will melt it. Place it into the remaining empty dispenser on the right.

Prepare the ingredients for the cocktail.
After you placed the three items, it is time to do the magic.
4. Activate the machine. Press the I/O button. Then look at the previous rolled up note. It gives information for the bottles. You can see that:
5. Vodka is the bass note ( the #2 piano key from the left), and that
6. Blue Curocau is the treble note ( the #3 piano key from the left). Using the lever on the bar that switches between these two musical notes, press the buttons in order (ensure that the lever is set to the left for bass and right for the treble)!
7. Now push the honeycomb button to add the liquid honey (right side).
8. Push the lemon button, to add a pinch of lime (right side).
9. Push the snow flake button to add ice (left side).
10. Finally, push the shaker button at the far right to mix it all together.

Greetings! Cocktail experimenter here! If you are looking for the best results IN REAL LIFE; mix 8 cl vodka with 8 cl of blue curac,ao and two full table spoons of honey (get the residual honey off the spoon with your fingers or a second spoon), add half a lime's juices, mix these with a shaker. You should add the ice after shaking. It is quite a nice cocktail, makes for 2-3 servings depending on the consumers' appetite, decorate with a lime slice on the rim.

The cocktail is also nice with crushed ice, honestly. :estusfull:

Thx for the guy making this guide btw, this puzzle is one of the two I got stuck on in the game.

This puzzle is super stupid and confusing. It is badly designed. Look at the score. The bass key, which is an F, points to Cognac, so Vodka that is two notes below is a D, so the second key from left on the keyboard. That is OK. However the treble key, which is a C, points to Champaigne, so according to logic Blue Curocau must be an A. But an A below C. Thus the correct key for Blue Curocau should have been the second key from right on the bass octave.

Yep I am musical and still got stumped on this one too - figured the liquid honey bit but counted my notes the wrong way... go hints!

Thank you! I’ve been playing this game with no problems at all until this part. I don’t know what the heck were the devs thinking when adding a musical puzzle, not everyone knows about piano keys, notes and all of that stuff. Really an awful puzzle.
