DP ArmA 3 Door Locks

Description
After creating the DonkeyPunch addon for Exile and reading many configs and learning more and more, I noticed a feature inside of ArmA 3 that is not used really at all. When any door in arma is considered disabled the door most likely has an animation showing a jiggling of the door and possibly a turn of the handle. Yet no where do I see this available (if it is well I guess I havent had time to see your mod or work).

So I have added a function and new actions to every door on Altis and Stratis.
I also have a follow up addon with all the Apex Tanoa doors done as well.
Look for the ArmA 3 Apex Door Locks mod :)

So you will now have an option to Open or Lock the door.
AI must follow this as well, so locking doors behind you can be a great thing to have!

Once door is locked, the Open Door for the Open Locked Door action will appear and an Unlock Door below.
Both addons are being released this evening and will be updated if any problems or more buildings appear :)

Hay, Nice work on this. I wanted to put this in a Wasteland server but I was wondering if there would ever be a update, or if this will ever be integrated in to "DP Build Everything Arma Expansions", and folowing the ounership defined by Wasteland so the person that locks an object down will be the only person that gets the lock/unlock option. ether way great work keep it up.

is it possible to have only the "lock door" option? i have other scripts managing the opening/ breaching of doors, i only need the lock function. any help would be appreciated.

First, these are configs changing the base arma config for the buildings.
So what you mentioned does not even matter anyways, if you want to make a mod like this on your own, then please code it on your own. But my guess is that you just want to look inside for yourself.....

In regards to malicious, well brother, I got tons of work that the community has used and seen and it proves itself worthy on its own.

If you dont like it dont use it. Thats really easy to do.

Honestly having the pbo encrypted is a downer no way to add custom buildings in the code as a 3d modeler that bothers me alot. I class all pbo's that are encrypted as malicious if I was a server owner no way I would use this as it is now.

If you do write a function that will work, let me know and I can add the function to the addon. I will add it as an OR in the condition :)

So when its done, the players will already have that function loaded and it will call it when they go to access the doors

I do have that in my DonkeyPunch Addon for Exile. If a plot pole is nearby it will only allow those in the build rights to use the locks :)

If you are using this with any type of mod with persistance im sure you can find the way to accomplish it :)

wow awesome been looking for somthin like this for a while is there or could you add some sort of key item or a way for doors to not be unlockable by diffrent people?

Hey TimberWolf,

This release is not specific for Exile compatibility. I do not include my custom functions for Squatters rights in this.....
Was more so meant to extend my find and my work to the rest of the Arma 3 community to possibly find use for it within their servers or projects. :)

If you are looking for the extra functions for exile, wait for the DonkeyPunch Addon for Exile v1.0 which will return the majority of the features to public release.
