You shouldn't even have to transfer your saves; they are stored in the My Documents folder and I would assume the Steam version would use the same folder.

It got Greenlit, w00t! Now when I get the game, all I need to do is transfer the saves, and then I'm good to go!

This game is promising; I hope it sees a Steam release. I found it to be an enjoyable game, very cool that it's optimized for speed running, but I think it's way too easy. I can't help but feeling that Maldita Castilla does most of the things this game does better.
The faction choice does not appear to influence much and the game does not encourage the player to use the many different weapons. The only differences between them are speed, reach, and damage, which have minor gameplay impact. I could charge right through most screens, and even the platforming-over-instadeath stretches later in the game are relatively forgiving.
A tremendous amount of care went into the visual and control "feel" of this game, though it could be a masterpiece with improved difficulty balance, greater tradeoff choices for the player to make between choosing a faction (or bonuses for opting out entirely?) and more heft behind the weapons.

If there is anything I would want changed right now, it would be the box art. It's not a bad one but when I first saw it, I was very confused by it's conflicting art style with the gameplay. I hope this makes any sense because I don't want this game to get lost with all the other games with a similar box art, I look forward to playing this game when it is greenlit.
