Description
Empyrean Frontier is a singleplayer real time strategy game in development featuring massive space fleets, base building, resource collection, and innovative tactical controls. Empyrean Frontier is a full featured modern RTS with all the core elements RTS fans expect and a number of innovative new mechanics as well.

The two core game modes are the classic skirmish mode and the multi-system conquest mode, where players have real time strategic control of fleets of units in order to conquer territory and fight real time tactical battles. The finished game will also feature a procedural campaign where the player takes across the galaxy, fighting real time battles against enemy strongholds and marauding fleets.

The game is still in development, but there is currently a playable alpha and a demo that include the core skirmish gameplay.

not my thing but developer looks to be competant, has a clear idea of what they want to make and are actively working on the game by directly addressing feedback and using it to improve the game, they have a website and a free alpha for those who want to give it a go and the ability to buy into it early on itch.io for those who wanna support the dev, this is how you make a greenlight submission, this is how you make a great game.

Thanks for showing results, I checked out the link and the movement is less spastic and more uniform, which makes it a lot less distracting.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. The movement, I didn’t really realize it was such a problem. Part of it is the framerate is a lot lower when capturing videos, and I’d probably also just got used to it over time. :steamfacepalm: Anyway I’ve spent today working on fixing up the movement code, here’s a little progress comparison youtube there’s still some units going back and forth that’s related to the pathfinding/collision code, but I fixed the really rapid shaking that sometimes happened.

Also I intend to improve a bunch of the models (including the ones in the video above, those were some of the first I made) although for now it’s a lower priority than finishing the other game modes.

It has the potential to be a great RTS, however, two things that need to be work on are better movement animations, and a more polished visual background and UI.
