Early Access Release!
Release date: Early Access Fall 2016
A comet is hurtling toward earth! Sneak, scavenge and blast your way through an immersive prehistoric world filled with humans, dinosaurs, AI and Mother Nature's fury. Try out the playable TECH DEMO available on our website

You will have to escape the planet before disaster strikes. Fortunately, a lot of spaceship debris is littered about with weapons, gear and items to assist you along the way, so there will be plenty of scavenging and crafting/combining of items to ease the difficulties of the journey. However, you are up against your shipmates who will also be struggling to survive and make it to the escape ship before the impending apocalypse arrives.

And of course, various dinosaur species will be roaming the landscape looking for their last meal, will it be you?

Gameplay Info

Objectives: The main underlying objective is to survive and escape the world. Surviving means not only sustaining your vitals, but thriving through adversity to reach the finish. Multiple sub-objectives will help drive you towards that goal.

Multiplayer: As development stands now, we are planning for a singleplayer experience. That doesn’t mean in the future we won’t be adding multiplayer support, only that we currently have resources for singleplayer only. We plan to have a few game modes, so adding multiplayer later is quite possible.

Crafting: Scavenging and combining of found items is the extent of crafting. This is due to the fact you are constantly moving and not settling anywhere for very long except for brief rest periods. An example of simple crafting: two plants that combine to give pain relief. “Scavenge Crafting”: helmet that needs a power pack to use.

Items/Weapons: Most of the items that will aid you will be found from crash sites, although using primitive items from the environment could increase their usefulness. Ex. Primitive bow and arrow, with explosives attached. Some items may be in different states of functioning, and require repair. Some may need multiple parts to function. Basic weapons will always be available in the form of rocks, spears and debris. Basic health items can be found in the form of plants, animal meat and fresh water.

Defensive Items: Some items can be found in the environment, things like dinosaur skeleton plates or spaceship debris.

AI Interactions: Other humans may be friendly and willing to interact, trading items or information. The majority will be aggressive and attempt to kill for their survival. The wildlife will be wild, no taming or therefore trapping. If they feel threatened they will defend themselves. Some plants and crash site gear will help in tracking animals and humans. You may need to track humans to acquire some valuable items needed to craft an object or complete an objective. Dinosaurs can offer only meat and certain special items, but tracking them will allow you to avoid becoming their prey.

Environmental Interactions: Next to the AI, the environment will be your biggest enemy. Aside from the main comet impact, there will be secondary “pre-impacts”. These have been ongoing for weeks before your arrival and continuing during gameplay. The impacts have resulted in areas of intense geothermal activity such as lava pits, tar pits, and springs. Seismic activity such as earthquakes will result in landslides and even fissures that may reveal more of the underground gameplay. These areas may be a hindrance or a help. Also the possibility of secondary impacts is always a threat. You will need to deal with these events as they appear randomly, so having proper gear will ensure survival.

Skills/Abilities: Skills will be gained by finding and combining items. Simple things like stamina and max health can be increased through time played and items discovered. For example finding gravity boots and combining certain tech from the crash debris can allow the boots to become anti-gravity boots, giving you increased jumping abilities. Another example would be finding a rebreather apparatus to increase dive time.

Landscape: There will be a few different environments. A 64km2 map will be comprised of three main environment types: forest, swamp and volcanic. In each, there will be areas of devastation, both predetermined and randomly occurring. The game region will be open, so you will be able to travel freely, although some areas may be cut off through natural events. Other areas will be choke points where key events will take place, as well as hazard zones that may serve as shortcuts with proper equipment (ex. protective wear). In all, you will have freedom of choice as to what available route you want to take to the finish.

Those are some of the things we can speak about as of now. We are looking at adding more team members to the three current members, and In Early Access we expect to have a many of those features functioning at least in their basic forms. We plan to add features in a manner that will not spoil the end game, so the play area will be limited during Early Access. The final game is something we hope will be replayable many times over due to the dynamic gameplay and achievements. Of course we value the community’s input so your suggestions are welcome.

Good job guys! This game has a big potential, so now it is in your hands how you will continue.. In my eyes it is unfornutalely focused on single player. I this it has a potential to beat ARK if it was developed as openworld multiplayer survival game. Anyway I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
