UPDATED WITH MOAR regiments of renown for vampire counts 06/03

Hey the fix for the humans inside brets was done by a noble soul named Bonzai_101 who offered his assets to be combined with the mod, this is his db page check him out.

Hey lads, this is the much promised reskin for vampire counts which ONLY AFFECTS THE MOUSILLON SUBFACTION
it completely overhauls the appearance and weapon set of the Mousillon subfaction to look like brettonian zombies.
IT CHANGES NO UNIT STATS AND THEREFORE- its completely save game compatible and won't stop steam achievements.

Just run this one and try disabling ALL my other mods if you just want the mousillon faction skinned, as this mod is all my mods bundled together.

a big thanks to maximillian and his bird for teaching me whenever I ran into a brick wall. and boosting what I know about modding by about 200%

so what exactly is changed?

regular zombies belonging to vampire counts. -changed to my more zombie variants mod.
mousillon zombies- retextured
mousillon skeletons sword- retextured
mousillon skeleton spears- retextured
mousillon black knights - retextured
mousillon black knights with lances retextured
mousillon grave guards - retextured
mousillon grave guards 2h- retextured
Mousillon Blood Knights- retextured.
necromancers- retextured
vampirelords- retextured
Red Duke- retextured , porthole and unit card changed to match his offical tabletop appearance.
wight_king- retextured


Regiments of renown:
Mousillon recieved skins for
the sternsmen
the konesteig stalkers.
vereks reavers.

Vampire counts recieved their own skins for
the sternsmen
Vereks reavers.

what isn't changed?
ghost units -as any sort of editing results in a real life nightmare
monsters units - not much to be done
legendary lords



NOTE: PLEASE READ REGARDING HERO UNITS/LORDS UPDATED: 15/11
a hard coded limitation prevents making lord SKINS subfaction only, the only way to work around this for now would be to make a new unit/hero set for mousillon then just name them exactly the same. this would make the mod incompatible with all those brilliant faction unlockers. so I shan't be doing that.
on that note I've released a

NO LORDS VERSION OF THE MOD
This one reskins all the vc units for mousillon, but not any lords.

How do I play as Mousillon with this mod??????

Download yourself a faction unlocker. possibly even type Mousillon faction unlocker. as long as whatever faction mod you have doesn't change the vampire counts appearance it will work

does the other mod modify the same units appearances?
if it does my mod probably won't work.
if it does not it will work.

YOUR MOD IS OUTDATED: if i havent uploaded the updated version tick load outdated mods on your mod manager and it will work, as my mod only ever changes textures the chances of it breaking are nonexistent, short of ca for example changing the filenames for zombies.

WHY DONT YOU INCLUDE DLC UNITS:
Since bretonnia got released I finally have, check out your new ror units :)

Hello!) I really love your reskin mod for Mousillon. :steamhappy: I like how Musillon's units look in your mod, specifically in the 1st part. In the 2nd part, I didn’t really like that Musillon’s units were mixed. I like how the units look in part 1, keeping the pure Bretonia theme. Please update this mod for part 3

i hope you realize the Red Dukes legendary weapon of lore is Blade of Leaping Gold and his legendary armor is the Armor of Blood.
just a fyi since the Red Duke is my favorite character in the Warhammer universe.

Dihart you can use pack file manager to delete this reskin of him and it will go back to his vanilla skin

@vonvince: if you use the mod version I linked you vonvince then it should work, that is an already stripped down version of the mod. if you use my other variants of the mod then there will be table conflicts but in https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=696617778
there are only unit_variant_colour tables(which don't really matter for you as they determine nothing)

You did try to edit the mod I linked you right? It's called "mousillon vampire reskin" . any other of my mods will not work if you edit them via the same instructions so it's sorta imperitive you use the one I suggested!(either that or as sg-radical says, gotta delete all the references to the new units in the tables if you use my other mods)

@vonVince if you want it to be absolutely certain to work, remove every reference to every unit you dont want reskinned from the mod.

It doesn't seem to be that simple: I did some testing and doing that makes reskinned units that I don't want to use to appear as invisible instead of their regular appearance : /
