  • 100% keyboard or mouse control
  • 126 new levels (now 252 in total)
  • New collectibles
  • Steam trading cards
  • Easter eggs!

The game is also optimised to adapt to any monitor size and resolution, whether windowed or in fullscreen mode...

So, yeah, this is NOT a straight port from mobile and I've worked hard to make it a great desktop game! That said, I'll leave you with the new trailer, created for me by the fantastic Desix Studios:

Release date: When It's Greenlit. :)
Pixo has been abducted by dirty aliens! Can you help him tidy up their ship?

In this retro-styled sokoban game your task is to help Pixo tidy up the alien ship by placing all the crates of rubbish on the airlocks so the aliens can blow them out into space. But the crates are too heavy to pull and can only be pushed through the ship's corridors, so take care not to box yourself in!

The game features 162 levels of enchanting pixel art and mind bending puzzles, as well as an easy going soundtrack and fun sound effects. Oh, and do well and the aliens will reward Pixo with a new hat from their collections! Complete all 162 levels and they'll give you the famed "Pixoban Crown"... The game is controlled with gamepad or keyboard/mouse, and has been re-programmed and optimised for desktop gaming. It will retail for €0.99.

Additional Information
When making this game, I had decided beforehand that I wanted to make a pure puzzle game that can be played by everyone - something that looked and played nice but cut back on the "fluff" which so many games have and that concentrated on a single puzzle mechanic. The choice of game was obvious to me... sokoban! It's always been a favourite game type of mine, and it has one of the simplest and cleanest game mechanics out there. So, warning! This game does NOT have any fancy levelling up, nor spectacular weapons, nor magic, nor anything except an endearing character and brain twisting sokoban puzzles! If that's enough for you then please give it the big thumbs up. :)

Looks OK, but I don't like the fact that sprites move in increments smaller than their pixels are made to look. It takes away from the retro authenticity. Also, the alpha blending in some parts is too slick to be retro. It shows that the game is being rendered in full 32-bit RGBA as opposed to a fixed palette from days gone by.

It needs 2000 different puzzles even to start.
I like the base idea from game, but it will be repetitive, so more levels (like I said,) will be the only way to enlarge the game, even with the repetitive feel.

@Dragon: The game has nothing mobile about it and has been completely updated for desktop with 100% gamepad, keyboard and mouse control as well as new levels and achievements. It'll also get steam trading cards...

All this seems to add to sokoban is a clunky mobile interface.

Voted "Yes" of course! ;)

Mobile port. Gameplay looks boring and repetitive. Graphics are nothing special. That "yippee" sound effect is annoying as hell.

looks cute, voted yes

@Cyberbrickmaster86: I can assure you that this isn't a "shallow mobile port"! I have been working hard to make sure that the game is 100% gamepad friendly, and that it also adapts to the size of the monitor with proper fullscreen/windowed modes too that actually scale the game to fit the aspect ratio rather add black bars. I've also increased the level count by a huge amount and added in Steam achievements... I'm also testing out a few extra game modes to see how they work, like time trials and limited moves...

Looks good, except that you're showing footage of the iOS version, when you're clearly aiming to release this on Steam. I hope this isn't what the PC version will look like, because we all know Steam has been getting enough shallow mobile ports as there is!
