Ratwood is a run 'n gun shooter in the vein of old console classics like Gunstar Heroes, Contra, and Metal Slug. Take control of Rodent -- a rat that's been bestowed cosmic powers by a sentient plank of wood -- as he battles the enigmatic Knights of the Round for the fate of the entire universe.

I was going to pass on this but the gameplay trailer conviced me to not. This does look unique and may be a good run and gun shooter.

I liked what I saw in the trailer. The game is beautiful, very colorful, original art and has a good amount of weapons available. What caught my attention was the change in gameplay to shoot'em up. The bosses are also cool and expect them to be challenging. I voted yes and await the release. :steamhappy:

@Rane Windows PC for now, once the game is done we'll be porting the whole thing over to monogame which will allow us to get a Linux and Mac release.
