Description
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

This is a scripted Character Sheet for FFG's Star Wars RPGs. This includes Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force & Destiny.

The sheet allows for full customization, editing, and tracking of characters all within Tabletop Simulator. This works by storing stats in a 'Database' holocron that acts similarly to Disney Infinity/Amiibo toys. To load the stats of a certain character, simply place your Database onto a sheet and click 'Edit' and 'Load'! Carry your characters from server to server and game to game by saving your Database to your chest or simply copy and pasting!

I expect quite a few bugs with this prelimiary version, so please notify me in the comments if you run across anything. For a quick fix for errors, simply copy and paste your sheet, move your database to the new one, and delete the old sheet

Current Features Include:
  • Persistent stat tracking across saves, games, and servers
  • Fully editable character stats and names
  • Tracking of new ranks, skills, and chars
  • Modularity (put this in your existing game and it'll work!)

Coming Soon:
  • XP tracking
  • Inventory
  • Multiple Pages
  • Obligation/Duty/Morality
  • Motivation
  • Automated Dice Macros (integrated with my SWRPG Dice Roller)

FAQ:
Scripted Character Sheet?! Are you working on one for *insert RPG here*?
I am currently working on a scripted character sheet for D&D 5e to be pulished with the Quality RPG mod seen: here.

Thank you for trying this out! Please let me know if you have any suggestions or encounter any bugs.

If you're interested in joining a campaign or GMing a game yourself, check out the TTS Star Wars RPG steam group.

Much love,

To save some trouble press the edit button and find the small pins that say edit name and change the description box.

Sorry, @jamalcolmson. This was a first attempt I made 5 years ago and I haven't been able to maintain it, with other TTS patches since invalidating pieces of it. There are better options out there.

How in the world does this work? I click edit mode to change stuff, but tapping on the little pawns that say "edit [whatever]" does nothing, hovering they tell me I need to be in edit mode, even though I already am in edit mode. I get the impression that database object has an ugly heap of code that the character sheet somehow reads via the load button? But I can't sort out what's actual editable fields versus actual script to make it function at all. There's no comments to explain it, and no rules guides to explain what to do either. Why is it built like this even, when other RPGs have directly interactive character sheets with editable text fields by default?

Guys, what is the best SWRPG mod on TTS atm? I am trying to get a game going.

Marlow can you add the lightsaber skills and other force destiny skills to it please

I'm also seeing the numbers issue. It seems like it started when Tabletop Simulator received a patch on the 29th.
Kalibur Feb 7, 2021 @ 11:06am
Thanks for the response! Yeah unfortunately I have no scripting skills either. I do notice that the numbers respond (as in, I'll get the messages that something cannot exceed the threshold) whenever I hit the plus or minus buttons. So, I think the issue is just that the numbers are not visible for whatever reason, as it would appear they're still saved. Not sure if that helps, but I would be happy to help test as well.

Completely understandable! If there is anything I can do to test/help (without actually knowing the scripting at all) let me know!

I've gotten this report from a few people. I'll investigate, but to be honest it's been years since I've touched scripting so I'm a bit rusty.

I'm having the same problem as Kalibur, sadly. Definitely not just an issue on his end.
