Draxel is an action-packed retro-style RPG! The objective? Explore and fight through large landscapes to build up an arsenal of weapons and armor in preparation to fight off a threatening dragon! You will face off against a dangerous variety of monsters along your way, as well as full-scale attacks against friendly towns.

On your journey, you will meet many people, including friendly townspeople, violent nurses who occasionally launch into spontaneous angry rants, lazy blacksmiths who are on perpetual breaks, guards that flee at the first sight of danger, and other questionable people. You will even be able to purchase costumes, which can transform your appearance. You can appear as an orc, a guard, or even a snowman! Who doesn't want to be a snowman?!

Some of the features include:
  • Over 60 different and unique weapons for you to buy, find, and forge
  • A vast world for you to explore with six different areas and 32+ different enemies
  • A variety of different, characteristic people for you to meet
  • Quest lines that vary depending on your decisions
  • Invasions during which you must protect your towns
  • Epic costumes to spice things up
  • Awesome retro-themed music
  • A blind and deaf old man
  • A toilet paper cannon! Doesn't that sound GREAT?

You folks have some good ideas, but your concept is a bit cliche.

Where are you getting the 4bit from? Have you even looked at the screenshots?
JummpingJim May 8, 2016 @ 2:18am
So you took ages programming and planning this and it looks like a 8bit game but not more like 4bit......

@JummpingJim Wow, thanks for the descriptive feedback! By "something like this" I'm sure you mean something with so much depth that it took weeks, maybe even months to plan out, and over a year to program the content alone.
Not sure what you mean by "some lame rubbish"- we are using a fairly modern programming interface.

Looking good, voted! Retro gameplay, retro music, retro graphics and TOILET PAPER CANNON!

I would love to have you participate in the Game Development World Championship. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.
