A quick guide on how to defeat Yhorm the Giant

Yhorm the Giant

• Rush to his throne and pick up the item, the storm ruler, homeward bone out and equip it
  
• We will use the storm rulers weapon art (LT+RT) to destroy Yhorm
  
• Stay close to him, try to get under and behind
  
• Dodge roll his swings, they will crush you
  
• His main damage is fire in phase 2 so if you can equip some fire resistant gear

Weak

• Weak to lightning damage

Resistant

• Resistant to slash damage
  
• Resistant to thrust damage

Immune

• Immune to poison and toxic damage
  
• Immune to fire damage
  
• Immune to frost damage
  
• Immune to bleed damage
  

Drops

• Souls: NG (36000), NG+ (108000)
  
• Cinders of a Lord
  
• Soul of Yhorm the Gaint

The soul can be consumed for 20,000 Souls or traded in for either Yhorm's Great Machete or Yhorm's Greatshield

Summons

If you're on the Siegward questline a cutscene will play as you enter the boss room. This trivializes the entire fight as Siegward will destroy Yhorm. He can solo the boss but it's faster if you help out using the above strategy.

press f to twohand than hold ctrl to go into weapon art mode after than hold your mouses left button :D

Ohhhh! So you have to HOLD the weapon skill button to properly damage him.

also, after you hit him tos tun him, charge and do not hit til he is ready to attack as this will properly stun him again, hen repeat this for a niice safe stunlock untli a bit out in phase 2 when yorhm gets p0n his feet faster than you can charge
