The Kingdom of Tamery

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Kingdom of Tamery:

Version 1.0 by Skyrim Modifier M7.

Quest #1: Your Mission: Find the Gems of Tamery.

The Kingdom has been overrun by Bandits! Legend has it that one who finds the fabled Gems of Tamery will find a solution and end the Bandits' occupation. Bandit Chiefs are "Protected" status (only Player can kill it). Each Gem is held by one of 3 Bandit Chiefs, located inside 3 residences (via Teleporter Chamber in the Grand Palace):

1. Castle Frostborne
2. Tamery Manorhouse
3. Sol Tower

Another is found on a Chicken you kill in the Grand Palace's Audience Chamber to start the quest (a 5th is in a display case; Loot the Chicken). Find all 4 Gems to make a key to the King's Tower (Private). Kill the 2nd Chicken and loot it. Why are there Chickens inside the Palace, you ask? Apparently the Chickens are venerated in the Kingdom. If you kill one, and it disappears, simply exit and reenter the room for it to reappear.

On the Chickens are clues to the situation. The last part of this Main Quest is your choice: do you rescue the King in the Audience Chamber and kill the Bandit Queen? Or do you kill the King and usurp his throne? Both are set to "Protected" so only the Player can kill either. If you kill the King, the Queen disappears and a reward is found on his corpse plus the necessary Exit Spell Tome to return to the Docks of Raven Rock, Solsthem. If you kill the Queen, the same happens. Your reward is a private Vault (Key) with treasures.

The Characters - Guards, Bandits, Cook - will appear or disappear after parts of the Quest are active. Followers (3) are in the Grand Palace Banquet Hall.

*** Important ***

You must Finish the Quest in order to obtain the "Go Home" Spell Tome from the corpses of either the King or Bandit Queen. This teleport book will send you to Raven Rock, Solsthem.

Access to the Kingdom of Tamery is via a Teleport Spell automatically found under your Powers Magic section.

No Bugs yet -- I had to uncheck "autosave" and stopped using "autosaved" files to test it (this causes CTD). I also fixed my load order in Skyrim to see if it had any effect -- all CTD isssues are now resolved. Not the Mod's fault.

M7 2016.

Future Projects:

1. Add more NPCs - Blacksmith, Merchants, Farmers, etc. to the surrounding Towns.
2. Add a Chapel with healer/vendor.

Hey, Thanks for being patient with me on the video. I have done three more sessions since and each has had some rediculous Murphy's Law Mishap happen. Errrgh! Tonight I go back in for the big capture. I upgraded to LoiLo for capture and it seems to work much better than Fraps. Now that I've actually played through 'Tamery' and the initial questline about 3.5 times I can say I am really liking the place and love the idea of a spell transport accesible realm in the midst of Tamriel. Things work fine. All is good in the Kingdom. It just needs to be filled out, populated and cluttered with the stuff of everyday living.

bsa was the same. aggression was not a factor in bsa file. :)
CountBB Apr 15, 2016 @ 2:43pm
Yes! Keep that aggression cranked up! It's great. It works. Got some vid done, will jump back in to continue but wanted to let you know it works, the game is afoot. The Bandits are agro. It's a blast. Thanks for making the update.

ok, cool, I'll delete old .bsa / .esp files and re-install.

Hey, I went in last night to do a video review and the bandits and chiefs just don't want to fight at all. I didn't want to go through the whole Mod like this on video. Has there been any other mention of this? When I pull out my weapons the Bandit Chief says "Hey, don't set anything on fire with that". Stock line. Otherwise the mod runs perfectly and looks great. Let me know if this is something that can be fixed. I'll try a re-install. By the way - my hosts here in Savannah have your chickens out in their back yard. Ha ha. They look absolutely the same. Size, color, feather configuration. I'm thinking of "interviewing" them for an end of video moment.
